Everything indicates that this was planned as a scam from the beginning, really a shame.

Yep, the presence of escrow is the first thing to check when entering ICO.  Every ICO investor must commit to memory  that scammers are never far away.

How do we know the website has been hacked and also if they are too dumb to protect user funds and lose everything through a website hack... I doubt that story is true.

I agree. Professional escrow is a must under most circumstances. Not many people check for that and pay a high price afterwards.

I think this is going to be it for Faceblock. Nobody here is further commenting on the hack but that is what the devs said and then they went silent.

Wow. and again a scam is over. the dreamers have lost their money and the scammers are sitting at the starnd with a cocktail. that happens every day and it gets more and more. soon no one has more confidence and the good ones will be indistinguishable from the bad ones. It happens everyday but people should become smarter everyday, too. If you see that anonymous devs raise millions I am still shocked how reckless people deal with their money.
