Haven't been able to connect for 5+ hours now. I'm using the Guild as a back up now, but I like Eligius. Hope it comes back soon.

WK, my miners show they've been submitting shares fine. But stats is obviously broken. Is this fine? or should i change to backup pool until you got it fixed?

I disabled a bunch of stats and other things while I work on patches to better mitigate this type of DoS.  Accepted shares are still counted, no worries.  If the pool accepts your share, you'll get credit for it.

Still working on the issue.  Hopefully have some better news soon, however at least things are stable for the moment mining-wise.

When payouts will be processed?

Im getting auto/coinbase payouts back online within the hour. I will then catch up the queue as soon as some more blocks confirm.

It's actually "hiding block contents" or something along those lines.  Just means mining.get_transactions in disabled.  On Eligius it is disabled to save bandwidth.  However, you can mine with block contents exposed via GBT as it is a bit more efficient than the stratum method, bandwidth-wise.  Unless you have a need to do so, though, I'd suggest using stratum.

I'm using bitcoin-qt v0.8.5.0-gef14a26-beta for Linux and the message signing fails when adding "NMC Merged Mining Addr" at: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/mystats.php?cmd=options

The message I get is:

Code:
Signature fails!
You must use a bitcoin client which supports standard signatures, or MtGox, for your mining address to sign options!

When I use "Sign Message" and then "Verify Message" on the message I just signed it works OK in the bitcoin-qt client.

Do I need the Windows version of bitcoin-qt to make this work?

The signature check daemon crashed it looks like. I will fix it when I get home in a few hours

Mining was unreachable or unstable for a total of about 8 hours over the past 72 hours due to DDoS attacks.  They seem to have stopped and I have implemented some new countermeasures.

My Eligius signing is working again.  Sorry about that.
