i have a you tube video and i told everone that i would send them 0.00000001 bitcoins if they post a comment

when i go to send the coins i put in 0.00001 and it says "error in amount"


whats going on?

Satoshi's aren't sendable yet.  Better check facts before making any promises.

Additionally on low volume transactions you will be charged a transaction fee, which I believe is something like 0.0005 in latest client. This is done to eliminate spammish transactions which otherwise would flood the network with people sending nonstop these small amounts.

my older client probably can sent 0.01 at lowest, i'm not sure, the new clients - 0.0001 ?
I haven't tried sending minimums and didn't have interest researching this Q so I may be off on this.
