Am seeing contradictory reports from various sources that this is either going ahead (c. November 16th) or it has been cancelled due to lack of consensus and support for the 2x chain.
Asking in here for definitive answer (and apologies if already been answered. I used the search function and still got contradictory reports)

B2X is the future but now it exists. Such segwit 2x is likely to occur. and I do not like this though it is good for bitcoin
