Be careful! There is an escrow scam going around!

I have the IP of this person and have reported it to the proper authorities. He tried to fraud me out of 2,700 in gift cards by using an e-mail spoofer.

I will update this case in investigation.

E-mail possible fake? sm3lg3z@gmail.com
Real EMAIL: nicollesmith98uk@gmail.com
Another Email: egbunikec@gmail.com

Update: (egbunikec@gmail.com) is the email of Islapdonkey! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=974629

This is the email the scammer uses: nicollesmith98uk@gmail.com

If you are a lawyer, please contact me. If you have experienced this, please send other evidences for me.

He accidentally exposed his IP in the headers of spoofing

Scammer was stupid enough to expose himself through the headers of an email

Hello and welcome to Blazr official escrow services!
You requested escrow via PM and post on my thread -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=631008.0
My email can be found on it.
I received your pm and your email request on my thread
Every single wallet created for escrow is new, and will be used only for this escrow trade.
So the payment can be tracked from blockchain.info without any other payments from or in it.
*** If you need escrow service for Amazon, you can reply to this email with the codes of the cards

Terms of service:

1.Seller username
2.Buyer username
3.Item/Digital good will be traded.
4.I escrow only payments via Bitcoin only.
5.If you want to be refunded, your only option for that is before the seller sends the item or after you receive it and don't like it. You cannot request refund if the seller already send the Item/Digital good.
If you receive your item/digital good and its not like it should be, after you turn it back to the original owner, refund will be released.
6.Explain with few words what the trade is and what's the amount for the trade.
7.If you received escrow wallet for deposit, you can deposit anytime you and the seller/buyer got agreement.
8.Escrow service starts only when coins were deposit to the escrow wallet. Please, do not reply to this email before coins were deposit to the wallet, because escrow service starts only after deposit.
9.There is 2% fee for the escrow service, but for every single trade above 20,000$+ fee is only 0.01btc

What is escrow service?
Escrow service explained with simple words: Me (as your escrow) holds the buyer payment (Bitcoins).
Once the payment is protected by escrow (me in this case) the seller can ship the item or deliver the digital goods.
Once the buyer receive his goods and confirm they are working as they should be, coins can be released to the seller.
Coins won't be released before buyer confirmation!

This is official escrow signed automated message.

That's pretty much all the important info... my previous trades and references:

Monbux really needs to ditch any mention of escrow requests per email and add a warning. I think this is the second case of an attempted scam via this method.

Anyways, tagged.
