Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy. There is doubt about that. Many people will sell BTC to buy altcoins. Because as you know, Bitcoin is just suitable for long-term investment and for big investors. Small investors who wanna earn money by trading will choose altcoins, certainly.

fork cancellation would be a good thing for the alts because investors who bought BTC to get free COINS will move their funds to the alts.

Dear members

I would like to know that , now segwit2x cancelled.. So investors move to alt coins?

Are there any connection between that

The issue of segwit2x is confusing now because I read it somewhere this morning that the segwit2x will still happen. I don't even get all the story again.

Actually altcoins have been down for quite some time now. Meanwhile the bitcoin risen at a really fast and scary pace. It was obvious that a bitcoin correction was bound to happen. And if we learned something form the past, altcoins couldn't stay down forever, they would've go up again eventually. This is the mere nature of crypto. Now the news and latest events may have an impact on how soon and how deep this ups and downs wil happen.

Yes, it's usually the case that when something happens to BTC, money moves to altcoins, and coversely when something happens to altcoins, money moves to BTC. Now that the fork has been cancelled, everyone is moving into crypto's, because the first reason why they were invested in BTC to start with, was because they wanted some free coins from the fork. Now that they are not getting the free coins, everyone is moving again back to the altcoins which seem to have performed great within the last months. It's really money moving from one coin to another, but either way make sure you're well invested in both altcoins and BTC. That is the only way to have exposure in all sectors of "blockchain" and that will guarantee some steady returns for your portfolio.

Fork cancelling is good for the alt coins. Since the investors went selling their altcoins to buy more btc for the fork. Now the fork isn't going through, the investors will buy altcoins again.

Canceling SegWit2x is a step in the right direction, and it looks like Bitcoin Core’s roadmap will prevail for now. While the intent behind increasing the block size was to make the bitcoin network more efficient, going ahead with the fork without broad community consensus would have caused more harm than good for bitcoin.
The fork cancellation dashed hopes of “free coins,” causing traders to rebalance their portfolios to include more altcoins.
As a result, altcoins registered gains on the 9th of Nov, as multiple top-tier coins posted double-digit price increases and capital flowed back into their markets from bitcoin.
So, there is some hope for altcoins afterall..

Of course it's good. With Aug how was "BITCOIN CASH" and it became known that in November will fork price grew up the cue ball and all the altcoin sank to the floor. Now the cue ball can easily sink up to 6000 and all the money will go to Alta.

But what will grow is the question

High risk high payoff

Yes the suspension of bitcoin hard fork will help altcoin growth and investors will look at the altcoin to invest and this will pump up most atcoin. Many altcoin within this periods will rise at least, to reduce the gap of bicoin in the market cap.

As I see it the fact that the fork for Bitcoin was postponed (or cancelled – now both variants are discussed) influenced positively on all altcoins. They have made the greatest jump during last 2 weeks. But just after that only bitcoin cash is growing. So lets see what will happen!

I don't know how forks are done but i don't think they are good for anything. Just airdrops to make some people richer.

I think yes because right now there a some altcoins that regaining their price or some of them pump in the last day after the fork has been canceled. I think one of them is BCH where is growth is high after the fork was cancel. I hope it's time for the altcoin to recover because it has been a long time since they have a low price in the past.

Are there any connection between that
of course, investors will not be stupid to keep hodl bitcoin because there is no segwit2x anymore.
agree since because of those forks bitcoin price is insanely increasing and in contrary altcoin market are all down , if there is no forks we could expect to have stable price on bitcoin and altcoin will start to regain it's value again.

You gave a resonanle answer. I accept it.. All the coins must up.. Forks always give more advantages to bitcoin. All are moving to btc..

In the fork cancellation all are rapidly moving to alts.

Of course, after the announcement of the cancellation of the November fork, some investors began to invest their money not in bitcoin, to get a free coin fork, but to altcoyins. So they began to rise in price, and bitcoin dropped a bit. But the decision to invest must be made quickly. In connection with such processes, altcoins again began to drop a little, the laws of the market are in force.

Altcoins can make more money if you pick the correct coin, bitcoin is safe but normally rises slowly - except when there is a fork and someone is offering a free airdrop. In this case people will simply dump alt to get the free airdrop and btc value rises. Best to go back to alts now before btc drops even more
