Oh bitcoin, we love and hate you for the same reasons, if you have some HODL, if you don't, maybe get some and HODL. Or if it's too much stress just pretend like it deontic exist lol.

With the lack of scalability of BTC it is a worry how this is going to affect the price going forward

If this is how you feel, Bitcoin isn't for you. Please take this advice seriously: for as long as cryptocurrencies exist, it's completely "normal" to go up and down 10-50% per day.
You can't expect anything that can go up 10,000% in a few months to never drop, and you shouldn't invest more than you're willing to lose.

It's just part of the game. Of course I hate seeing my coins drop in value too, but I've been around long enough, so instead of panic selling, I stick to my plan: only sell at certain price levels.

It's just that the money from BTC is switching to other coins and some invest in BCH as well since there was no fork.This is normal and the price will fluctuate-I think now we are returning back to how the markets were before the fork news and I think that is for good.We will see after all

Well this is to be expected since that is just normal in the market. We can just easily panic just because the went down at a high percentage. We could just take it as an opportunity to buy. Because it is not also normal if the price will always just go down. They need to at least pump the price for users so that their can be another dump at a higher price. Even though fork maybe be cancelled, it was not stated that it won happen. Maybe in a week again the price might go back at its original price.

What do you expect to happen when there is turmoil associated with Bitcoin? The movement of cryptocurrencies is a self-regulating system - where bitcoin is a ringleader.
Don't try to fight it, simply embrace it as a feature of the crypto market. If you can't stand the fluctuation and volatility then maybe focus on traditional investment instruments?
But remember - when you will pick some more stable options you may forget about XXX% profit overnight...

Some "Bitcoin Classic" developers? I have no idea what that story is about, but you may be mistaking them for Bitcoin Core developers.
