The website is amazing , I am not sure when will it past total profits made at SDICE , but the chat/investment option here is amazing and such a fresh idea .
I think this website will be bigger than anything in the future.

1.2 million dollars invested, holy shit. I can really see Just-Dice taking over SatoshiDICE with interest like this.

It's been up 8 days and players have already wagered 21,000 BTC in over 6 million bets. Not all of that can be from my bitcent tips, can it? For comparison, SatoshiDice has handled 5,192,456 bets in something over a year of operation...

That is correct. JD > SD > PD > CR, in terms of bets placed.

Whoa, dooglus! You've opened your own dice site. I'm positive surprised, that's amazing news! I have always read your comments/suggestions about provably fair of casino games, so I'm in, let's rock'n'roll! ;-)

If you count bets, then certainly, JD gets about a million a day. It's also a meaningless statistic in the sense that 1mn bets cost less than a bitcent to make (well technically I suppose you could lose one million bets straight if you really wanted). If you count BTC then not quite. The betcount approach is particularly meaningless if you're comparing things that use the blockchain and things that don't.

In my eyes it already has I agree. I'm not really into gambling games (though I play every once in a great while), and I've already played more in two weeks on JD than I have in nearly a year on SD. I think the reason (at least for me) is simply because I can credit my account on JD and then just play a bit...compared to filling up the blockchain and waiting on SD. Not to mention customizing my bets / outcomes is pretty awesome. That and I won BTC5.0 on JD, so I may be a bit biased

It's not meaningless when you think about it in terms of blockchain health. As more and more gamblers move to Just Dice, pressure will be lifted from the blockchain, pushing out the timeframe on having to resolve the block size issue.

and....this is a good thing? Yes, it decreases transaction queues, and reduces blockchain bloat, which means transactions can (potentially) confirm faster.

yeah... ofc... but does it any good for Bitcoin to "have more time" to solve a problem we will have sooner or later for sure. I say we need to get this done as fast as possible. "more time" does not help here. Things get really done and pushed under pressure. But it's not for this thread i think
