Those stats are fake dude.Just so you know,we are talking about bitcoin gambling here which is illegal in most of the countries mentioned in you list. The countries contributing to bitcoin gambling scene are Indonesia/Phillipines along with other European countries.I could be wrong but stats do say lot of third world countries do gamble with bitcoin online.

I live in one of the listed countries and based on my minimum knowledge I can say it is wrong but don't know about other countries. It may be estimated based on some tools but things may change so you should also need to check when that estimation has done. If it is done way long back then no use of it.

This list that you found is false, as others mentioned above. Is very hard to believe these numbers for crypto gambling.
Is also scratched which probably shows a lot more than just a random list from the net.

Maybe you use these numbers as a personal guess?

"...which is illegal in most of the countries mentioned in you list...."

Can you be more specific in which countries from this list, are you referring to?

I don't think those stats are accurate either.

A few years ago I read a report and the biggest gamblers were mostly from Asian countries and the United States. I highly doubt Australians are crazy gamblers like the stats are saying.

Statistics must be supported by a literature review. You should post some references with links, otherwise the numbers you have thrown are just meaningless. Can you please share the source of those numbers?

Op mentioned already from where he gets his stats.
Most likely though i believe that is his site and he wants to promote it through this topic/list.

The article doesn't provide any stats it only said that they based it on different kinds of data nothing was specified or any confirmation if crypto gambling was included. Also the article was posted April of 2013 that's 4 years ago so don't take the ranking too seriously.

would love to see what was the criteria to calculate the loss?
I know for sure that chinese gamble the most, they lose and win copious amounts of money and they are not even in the top ten?
I would place them if  not top of the list, but top three for sure
also the US gamblers? probably top 3 as well, not on the list, same goes with russian gamblers

but Greece and Italy and Spain made it there Huh
Greece one of the poorest EU countries, makes you wonder how legit the whole list is

Is this average loss er gambler or per person living in the country? If per gambler then I guess it's right. If per person I call be. How can 41% of people gamble in Finland that's impossible since 41% aren't even of age. 41% would mean everyone Gamble's. Fake stats don't be fooled. Noone wuod give out stats like this for the exact reasons you spoke of. People pay big money for this kind of data it would never be available for free. Also how would they collect this data anyway? Ask every single person in a country if they gamble?

This is exactly what I meant. A statistic is a collection of numbers from different sources, which should be reliable and possibly audible. One cannot base such definition from a single source only.

Amazing stats, though do those stat mean for the whole country or for just the gamblers of that country. Since I think $1,400 for an adult in australia will mean that there are so much people in gambling debt if that is true. That's a lot of money for every australian to lose. It needs to be more clear what those stats mean. Also, I don't see that the survey was conducted by any reputable authority that conducts statistics.

Aussies are notorious for their gambling habits. They could virtually bet on anything and everything like 2 bugs racing on a fence and don't give a shit about the results lol. Playing for fun and not for profit. So I think this research is pretty accurate to be honest lol  Grin

This article was posted in April 2013 and almost four and a half years old article. By now this data may be outdated and you should find a recently posted data for your marketing purpose. This market is very dynamic so you can't really on old data to market your product.

The Melbourne Cup, one of the world's famous horse races, was run last week and there was an incredible stat being quoted in the media along the lines of one gambling app receiving 850 bets per second in the lead up to the race! Yep, Aussies are hardcore gamblers.

These stats are for people gambling with FIAT because the majority of gamblers who play with bitcoin are from countries where the government has restricted FIAT casinos and sports book. A good thing is governments still do not know different bitcoin sport books and they are all free to be accessed anywhere without the need of TOR browser. We do not have accurate bitcoin gambling stats like the one you published yet.

Those stats are for fiat based players and not for bitcoin for sure as there is noway to find out exactly how much average person from specific country is losing every year in bitcoin based casino without any KYC policy.

Fiat based casino might be using stats like this to target their advertising campaigns for years, however I think bitcoin based casino might also target these countries as all of the listed country support the use of bitcoin.

BIIIIIIIIIIIP
False argument if I may.

Fact is that what you're saying is basically "look you should concentrate your advertisement towards those nationalities because they gamble more and lose more" but it's not true. What your little statistics don't take into account is the regulation differences between countries. For example in France casinos and every gambling sites are under very strict rules that makes it not so easy to gamble, but that also prevent casinos from putting horrible odds. It's simply illegal (and severely punished) to have games with 10% house edge for example.

So your stats should also take things like that into consideration Wink

Those stats are fake dude.Just so you know,we are talking about bitcoin gambling here which is illegal in most of the countries mentioned in you list. The countries contributing to bitcoin gambling scene are Indonesia/Phillipines along with other European countries.I could be wrong but stats do say lot of third world countries do gamble with bitcoin online.
Ive been wondering too why some of those countries are being listed knowing that some of them do really prohibit gambling which i do really have doubts being listed on their on the particular site that have been mentioned. Those are totally fake stats for sure which it do only emphasize only on some countries without including on the true gamblers online. which is most on eastern.
