Yea I'll never support BCH after this take over attempt.

There is no take-over attempt, but a healthy competition. Check the latest block mined today:

https://blockchain.info/blocks

Almost all the miners are utilizing the 1 MB block size to the limit (some of them are even going beyond it). It will be short-sighted to make Bitcoin Cash a scapegoat for the scaling issues of Bitcoin.

from all this happening and still bitcoin core cant solve the scaling problems the fees and slow transaction.. i think we should hold both coins, hold part BCH then hold part BTC.. i hope too the BTC can solve issues so we can move on to greater heights Smiley

Bitcoin has always been excellent because bitcon cash is just hype until the price goes up. Have you seen the hype is over and bitcoin cash is falling again. So no one loses in bitcoin because it has proven to be a lot and this has worked out well for us. Do not worry about it anymore because now we invest now will also generate millions of dollars over the years like adopters in early 2010.  Cool

Yea I'll never support BCH after this take over attempt.

I don't like it either.  The lack of seg2x replay protection in itself was a dirty move.

But Hedge your bets.

I, too, will not support BCC, even though the price of this coin has become very high and continues to grow. I think that this is just a provocation of whales and soon the price will fall

Bitcoin Cash was started by Bitcoin miners and developers equally concerned with the future of the cryptocurrency, and its ability to scale effectively.
Bitcoin Cash seems to be a productive split with its existence neither threatening Bitcoin's nor requiring support from Bitcoin's remaining adherents.

I believe in Bitcoin core and if it really comes to it where there must be a change, I have no doubt there will be a consensus to change BTC and the BTC community won't let BCH overthrone it.
Of course bitcoin is the future, it is the most promising currency among the family of crypto currencies. The introducers of bitcoin cash are trying to grab the attention of the people and push bitcoin down. But it wont happen because bitcoin is already on top and is leading all digital currencies, people are investing here and are getting a high output and securing their future, in my opinion it will not be replaced by bitcoin cash.

Now that Segwit2x has been called off, and the developers have said Bitcoin Cash 'aligns with their views'.... and bitcoin.com has gone only to bitcoin cash - What is the future bitcoin ??

I am pleased that Segwit2x was called off, I felt this would cause a divide in the bitcoin community, however bitcoin cash is fast and cheap and people may start using Bitcoin cash over bitcoin.

Bitcoin has dropped ~10% in the last day, I feel this is good because it has settles down at the 6700 mark for correction, on the other hand, bitcoin cash has raised ~40% !!

I was all along saying to myself, if the price went in the $6k range, I would purchase a small amount more, however bitcoin cash is doing well, what should I do ?

I own bitcoin but none of bitcoin cash, are people here still buying bitcoin or is bitcoin cash the way forward ?

It will take more than bitcoin cash to take the place of bitcoin the coin that will dominate or has the capability to take over a brand as big as bitcoin isn’t even out yet and probably won’t be for a long time bitcoin is sitting on that throne for a long time in my eyes.

I also dont own any bitcoin cash i think it will dump hard soon .
In my opinion may be both bitcoin and bitcoin cash will be used in future because bitcoins are more easy to use by tech minded people but for the older people and those who are less tech conscious bitcoin cash will be preferred more. Although both are equally important for future so both will be used in future.Actually future is about bitcoin, so these derived coins are good to go for better future.

Bitcoin Cash is controlled by the developers and they can manipulate it, but bitcoin is independent. Most of the peoples and business is running on BTC so i think it will lot of problem to divert it.

I have invested in BCH if my guess is correct, will BCH be following BTC prices now ??

bitcoin cash has proven that it can stay above $1000, and despite trading volume of bitcoin cash dropping from the highest amount that the records say but every time it tries going down due to dump or anything else, the price jumps back up. currently stuck around $1170 with $20 fluctuations.

whether it is manipulation or whales accumulation i do not know but i have watched it enough to say it will stay above $1000 for the foreseeable future.

Still all this doesn't mean that bitcoin cash will follow bitcoin. I don't believe it can come to such level of acceptance and adoption or the value and number of users. Bitcoin cash is just another altcoin and bitcoin is only original coin and will stay so. Bitcoin cash is good for trading but it can't take bitcoins' place.

Bitcoin has a really good future because it's has a high value. Today, Bitcoin is very popular in every country, many people get interested so that they join here to get a big salary. But we can't predict what's going to happen in our future, rather to take the many opportunities here.

It has a lot of the potential to get the high value and the price as much the use of its is being famous I hope I could see that bitcoin cash at the high value and the price I will see how fast it will be famous.

Bitcoin in cash has significant improvements over the original bitcoin. Therefore, in order to keep the original bitkoyin its leadership position, it needs to constantly improve, and first of all to solve the issue with the bandwidth of its transactions. In connection with this bitkoyn cash already looks quite promising, in connection with which many already partially invest in it as a fairly profitable coin.

Yea but this is silly, I don't own any Dash as an example but it's a lot better than bitcoin cash as are a lot of the earlier forks. There's nothing special about bitcoin cash.

This development could mean any number of things for the future of cryptocurrency. The situation is very fluid, and market valuations are both constantly calibrating and volatile. It’s going to be difficult to get a clear picture until Bitcoin Cash has been running for a little while (or fails), and until Bitcoin implements its segregated witness technology later this month, and then doubles the size of its blocks three months later.

Improving cryptocurrency as a transaction medium will depend on maintaining the high level of security that Bitcoin has always ensured, while also improving transaction speeds. Bitcoin will continue to be highly secure, but how much its transaction speeds will improve is unclear. Bitcoin Cash, once its difficulty has adjusted, could have transactions processing in two minutes and 30 seconds. The security of the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, though, is unclear.

It will also depend on miners’ and users’ vision for the currency. If Bitcoin really does undermine the decentralized nature of the network, and the democratic possibilities of the blockchain technology, people may look elsewhere for a cryptocurrency with more exciting potential.
