How much would the amount would be, top allocation would always be Bitcoin, then Altcoins. Under altcoins, 50% of leftover funds after buying Bitcoins will go to established altcoins with good team and future prospects. And the rest for new ICOs and good unattended altcoins which have chances of hitting high.

Bitcoin cash is my first choice if I have $10,000. As you can see, after Segwit2x failed, investors have not believed Bitcoin so much. They are interested in BCH. With more advantages comparing with Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash is a potential coin to buy now.

I think of buying back into Komodo it's gone down back to nearly 2$ and I think it will go back to 2,50 soon !
Also I like Litecoin and Monero. Maybe going into Vertcoin also

If I have 10,000$ then I will buy Bitcoin today as the price of it goes down to nearly to $5,999 again as I really trust the future of Bitcoin because I feel it ever since I discovered it last year. Even though many people still thinks that Bitcoin is a bubble or does panic sell their holding it will not affect my belief on it as it is normal for any currency market to have an corrections in price.

The significant thing that I would do is to if I bought $10k worth of Bitcoin is to hold it up until the year 2020 comes to lessen the headaches that may arise for the never ending volatility of it. Anything can happen in the future though and there are positive and negative signs with Bitcoin but it's okay with me to still invest.

Ripple Cryptocurrency Price
Going off what we know, there’s a lot of good reasons to be positive about the Ripple coin.

The company leadership is more solid than Ethereum and Bitcoin, has a strong market cap, a focused use-case for its coin, is less ideologically deadlocked than its closest siblings, and is very affordable right now.

If I had 10000 dollars I will buy ETH, BCH and Litecoin. These coins have increased few days ago when Bitcoin down. I believe that their price will go up in next week at least.

There are some countries that are banning ICOs and from what I see it will not make ETH go more than $350, so do not put too many expectations in ETH

Hope you know that the price of bitcoin was on a bull run for months and you think that it will keep on moving higher without any correction,the correction we see right now is not because people lost their faith in bitcoin but there are plenty of alts which are good to invest at this moment and the miners from China are playing a big role in manipulating bitcoin and supporting bitcoin cash at the moment.

My personal opinion is that if you don't want to spend a lot of time doing market research and finding which coins you determine to have the best outlook, you should diversify your investment. The reason being is that you are looking at these options as a black box. Ok, so how would I diversify them? Also, do you want risky investments or safe investments? If you are looking for risky investments, you should loop back to my first sentence and actually do your market research to figure out which ones you think have the best outlook. These would likely be smaller altcoins with innovative new technology, active development, a strong team, a large addressable market, and potential for widespread adoption. If you want safe investments, this is an easy call. What we can draw from decades of evaluating stock prices is that generally the most likely stocks (or coins in this case) to increase in price that currently exist will be the ones that continue to increase in value and adoption in the future. Notice that I didn't say "increase the most in price", simply that they will increase. I would take a very simple approach. I would first decide how many different coins I would like to invest in. This could be 5, 10, 15, etc. Second, I would go to a website that evaluates the market cap of each cryptocurrency. Lastly, I would pick the top X as the ones which I will invest in. So, if you said in step one that you would like to diversify to 5 different coins, those current investments would be: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, and Litecoin.

order, I already invested in buying some of this alt-coins.
   I do not have $10000, I invest in stages when I have, my goal is to have portfolio

In the current situation, with the tension of the hard fork (or fake fork) if i have all this money, i should apply my money in other cryptocurrencies, like the ethereum, monero, and even ICO tokens like the UNIVERSA, so, we are in a instability time, and if i need to apply in risk negociations, i will chose the best.

If I have $10k, I am very grateful before .. I will not use it all in investment, maybe I will save $2k and use $8k to invest. I will choose Bitcoin (60%) and Ethereum (40%) as my investments medium, I am sure this is having more power until can gain high profits in a long term.

Bitcoins are quiet expensive but this is much profitable nowadays,  another coins which shows high potentials are etherium and bitcoin cash, If you have a big capital then why don't you try to invest this types of coins, surely it will give you a comfort way of living:)

With this dips that bitcoin  is experiencing many are awaiting to drop it at least like $5000 then buy.
Bitcoin is bitcoin and nothing can replace in its throne and this will always be a great investment. And many are optimistic it will bounce back again after the bch hype. I always put my hopes too high to this.

Are you ignoring the btc completely ? I will always have the top priority in btc coin then rest of the altcoin would follow. Currently XMR, Stellar, ZCASH have fallen and price looks good to buy and keep it for future. If we see some rise in this coin's price you can easily sell off or may continue to hold for the longer term.

buy bitcoin I guess while its on its downfall stage, maybe more money will be put back into bitcoin after the rebound though there's also lots of quality
coin to be supported but for a while I might prefer to continue buying bitcoin and hold for some time.
