While I like the fact there was a democratic vote, I do think that given the structure of our community that such decisions should have been left to the Masternodes.  They are the governance.  At some level we do need a "benevolent dictator" but for something like this, I think it should have been the providence of the Masternodes as that is harder to game.

We'll see how 20 BBP / RAC pans out, my guess is it won't change too much on the top and bottom, the big 3 will have the three weeks of making 50% of the mining proceeds to bank their futures, the bottom users will be bringing a small stake for their small RAC.  What it SHOULD effect is preventing a large malevolent user from jumping in, such as a bot net, and making any inroads.  If this coin continues to be dominated in the mining world by a small set of users, this coin will probably stall out, and that's coming from an ardent supporter.   But really there is no way to correct it, there's not enough people that are permitted to make real decisions to have avoided this.  The miss by all of us in testnet created a huge windfall for those able to nimbly bring VPNs on line and spend hundreds of dollars a day to gain the more than double intended rewards.  And really anyone that's in the top should have enough BBP banked from these three weeks to keep the status quo.

If you want to allow both RAH and WCG on 1 PC just run this on working machine:
Code:
boinccmd --project_attach https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org YOURAUTHKEYFROMWEB

Thanks! Yesterday I added WCG to a linux machine crunching R@H, now today the WCG and R@H Cross-Project IDs (CPIDs) are the same.

Look it was put to a vote which in my opinion is as fair and democratic as we can be. Literally no one voted for no stake requirement.

You don't need an invite. Just register here and the administrator will approve.

We've been practically begging people to vote for about a month. The entire proces from start to finish has been widely discussed on this forum. Users made posts with big red letters, asking for people to vote. I've also asked multiple times to please vote.

There were even complaints that the poll was open for too much time.

This has been a democratic choice, and if you're only now finding out about this, you clearly haven't been reading on this forum.

While it was a democratic choice, the thing I want most is that the requirements for new users to start mining aren't too high, and I hope that this rule hasn't gotten in the way of that. The average home-PC will generate about 2000 RAC, and at the current rate it will costs about 30 dollars worth of BBP to have a stake that will give you 100% of the rewards. If this proves too high of an entrance costs, I think we should be able to lower the RAC-requirement in the next mandatory (that I think is planned for june). Maybe this round people will be more motivated to vote, since they have realized that their vote actually counts in this community.

Besides that, if you have an android-phone, you can create an unbanked account without staking requirements.

It's in the list, but it's way down. Should be number one when searching, but I don't know how this search-algorithm works...

DID it say WHERE AND HOW to vote??? dont believe so, but im not trying to "split hairs..." so to speak.

like ive mentioned in the past, your main website links to reddit and stuff, NOT TO YOUR OWN SITES.

Strongly feel that should be changed, and that information like how/where to vote... just like i found out i AM a member of the forums, and even though voting technically ends in like 3 hours, i still CANT VOTE.

fahq420 you have true... im agree with you: im wrote/told many times here about this that we dont want next forum....... its bad...... or its mistification/ on purpose/ may be designedly : this mirroring informations on more places is good for whales/dev/first miners etc and bad for newbies/newminers/investors ... it bad light for BBP

It did say where and how to vote very clearly. Voting is closed now (this has also been discusses on bitcointalk).

Also, when the new site is up, there will be an option to receive a newsletter, so everyone will be really kept up to date to the things that are happening.

Also, if you see room for improvement, you have to speak up (now is a little late concerning the voting, but you can ask for other improvements), or you just implement them. Biblepay is not an organization but a community.

And as a community, everyone has a vote as far as I'm concerned. I've been trying to keep things open and debatable since I first encountered this project. We are working really hard to make the main website something that works, as it very clearly isn't at this point. If you have any input on that, please contact me.

main input about site....

link to YOUR forums, not reddit or BTCtalk.

That way we get true up to date info, and hopefully dont have to wade through over 300 pages of stuff to find out what is actually going on "now"

Alright, I'll ask Thomas if he can also place a link to forum.biblepay.org Smiley

I noticed there is no problem with rosetta tasks for last 2 -3 days. Probably some players moved to WCG.

Did someone already find out ratio between WCG and RAH RAC ?
I read here before that we will start with  1 to 1.

When will actually the 20bbp per RAC rule get implemented? And when it gets, you can see the required bbp for 100% reward with 'exec totalrac', right? Also, if I understood the calculation correctly, if you have 10k RAC and 100k bbp (giving you 50% rewards), the rewards are the same as if you have 5k RAC and 100k bbp?

You're correct about the reward Smiley

Don't know when the rule gets implemented precisely. Probably tomorrow.
