Hi Rob How can let the biblepayd auto start after Ubuntu system boot up? The previous tutorial is too old , the path does not seem to have related archive. Thanks  Which tutorial are you referring to? If it's the wiki, you can adjust it yourself Just found related info in github page only. Could you provide the related link if you know which pages were mentioned? Thanks. Oh, okay. It’s been since 4/9/18 that I have been pulling shares with no magnitude in pool, any idea how long it takes BOINC to solve enough tasks to start pulling in magnitude? Anything else I should check, any commands I should type into debug to figure out any other issues that could be causing the no mag issue? Should I just move all BBP coins to one wallet under one CPID number to see if that fixes the Magnitude issue? Should I switch pools? Thanks.
If you type exec getboincinfo, you should see positive RAC by now. Please paste your CPID, and also, check your boinc client to see if its RAC agrees with the biblepay exec getboincinfo. Also, you should be in the pool superblock view report. Here is what I am getting from debug commands. It’s been since 4/9/18 that I have been pulling shares with no magnitude in pool, any idea how long it takes BOINC to solve enough tasks to start pulling in magnitude? Anything else I should check, any commands I should type into debug to figure out any other issues that could be causing the no mag issue? Should I just move all BBP coins to one wallet under one CPID number to see if that fixes the Magnitude issue? Should I switch pools? Thanks.
If you type exec getboincinfo, you should see positive RAC by now. Please paste your CPID, and also, check your boinc client to see if its RAC agrees with the biblepay exec getboincinfo. Also, you should be in the pool superblock view report. Here is what I am getting from debug commands. If your RAC is 71.71, which is pretty low, it's possible that it was 0 legitimately before. Is it still 0 when you execute the getboincinfo call? As for the donations, part of the budget every month goes to those costs - you can see the bills every month by clicking on the accountability tab. Currently we are reserving additional money to ensure that the monthly sponsorships are essentially pre-paid for a longer period to isolate us from price fluctuations. In any event, though, the $38/month for all >200 Compassion kids, plus the others from BLOOM, is sent every month. |

Let's separate Wallet-mining from Boinc-mining first You really only need to mine with one wallet, and with one thread (this is how it works when you first install your wallet). You really don't have to do anything, but if you want, you can join a pool. What you really want to do, is earn BBP using Boinc. In order to do this, you need to stake AT LEAST 1 BBP for every 1 RAC. So, in your case, you need to stake at least about 8000 BBP. But that get's you the minimum 10% payout. In order to receive 100% of the rewards, you need tot stake about 160,000 BBP, which you really need to buy at an exchange. As your RAC changes, your wallet automatically adjust the amount it stakes (if you have enough BBP). If you really want to heat mine with multiple wallets, things get a little more complicated. You can only mine with a wallet that has an associated CPID with magnitude. In order to get magnitude, you need to have been in at least one superblock. And in order to be in a superblock, you need to stake at least 1 BBP/RAC. You were not staking enough to have 1BBP/RAC, that's why I sent you the BBP. Please don't return it anytime soon (or before you have acquired more BBP), because you will receive no rewards again with your current high RAC. I'm not so informed about the mining setup nowadays. @Lightseeker ( ), is there a way to contribute binaries to your PPA? Previously I installed BiblePay via your repo and it was super easy and comfortable, but now there are no latest versions there, and I can offer my help and compile when you're not around, especially if it's a mandatory update. I usually follow BBP updates every day, so I think I would be able to compile in around 24 hours after an update. |
