Strangely, after updating both of my sancs oh, 13 hours ago, I've run into a problem.

They both ran ok for quite a while, but now both have stopped getting new blocks and a getinfo call shows 41632 as the block index (my Windows, and other block explorers, show 41638).

Anybody else running into any problems? Masternode sync status is 999, nothing is throwing errors...I'm not sure what's going on.

I have 2 clients reporting "no block source available"
edit: the addnode to the config fixed them.. wonder if some main node is down?

I also have problems with my 1.1.2.2 clients, both crashed 2 hours ago while sleeping.

Windows one is stuck at 41624 and linux one (Sanc) in 41633 after manually restarting

Another windows 1.1.1.9 one is working fine at 41643, and C-Cex one too as well as block explorers.

Edit: they are syncing but veeeeeery slowly (1 block per 5 minutes)

I also see a lot of banned peers in the list.

I shut them down and did a re- index which seemed to work. Curious... wonder what the root cause is.

One of my Windows wallets crashed and was stuck a dozen blocks behind so I rebuilt the index. Noticed the other Windows wallet was also stuck, so I also rebuilt that index as well. Works now.

Got your newsletter again Mike, warning me that the update was needed.

Everyone: if you want to get notified on mandatories, go to https://bbppodc.org/ and sign up for the notification-newsletter.

But that got me wondering: I don't think that this update was explicitly a posted as a mandatory. At least, I don't remember reading that. But the current state of the network begs the question if maybe many users didn't perceive this update to be mandatory?

I'm just a bit confused here Smiley

Try to update win wallet but it stucks on sync. What should I do? Delete some dat files?

Here's a simple Win wallet cleanup guide:

Windows Cleanup:
- In Windows File Explorer enter: %appdata%/BiblePayCore
- Delete blocks and chainstate folders,
- Delete these files: banlist, fee_estimates, governance, mncache, netfulfiled and peers
- Add this line to biblepay.conf: addnode=node.biblepay-explorer.org
- In Wallet do Tools >> Wallet Repair >> Rebuild index

Thanks. Adding the node works.

What worked was probably rebuilding the index, not adding the node, because that node is dead, so please don't recommend it. The one to use is node.biblepay.org

In the boinc leader board i'm at position 102 of the team...

Thanks to all of you.

Yours is straightforward:  You have RAC of 7432, so you would need to send in a utxo of 148,000 BBP to receive 100% credit.

Our minimum requirement is 8940 BBP, but your sending in 4700 so you are not meeting the minimum Smiley....

Don't understand What I need to do.
It's really not clear for me

Thanks

I think you can best read this page:
http://wiki.biblepay.org/Distributed_Computing

Especially the 'Biblepay UTXO Reward Chart':
Biblepay UTXO Reward Chart
UTXO Level   UTXO CoinStake Amount   Percentage of Reward
Level 0   0-1 BBP per 1 RAC   0%
Level 1   1-3 BBP per 1 RAC   10%
Level 2   3-5 BBP per 1 RAC   20%
Level 3   5-7 BBP per 1 RAC   30%
Level 4   7-9 BBP per 1 RAC   40%
Level 5   9-11 BBP per 1 RAC   50%
Level 6   11-13 BBP per 1 RAC   60%
Level 7   13-15 BBP per 1 RAC   70%
Level 8   15-17 BBP per 1 RAC   80%
Level 9   17-19 BBP per 1 RAC   90%
Level 10   20 BBP per 1 RAC   100%

You're currently below the threshold to be able to receive rewards. You need to stake a minimum of 8940 BBP with your current RAC.

Ohh, ok.
Need to increase the number of PC to patecipate at rosetta mining, is it right ?

Today BBP still the same

No, you need to increase the BBP you are staking (the BBP in your wallet) or decease the number of PC's.

If you give me an address I'll lend you 5000 BBP. Have them in your wallet, do an 'exec podcupdate' and tomorrow you'll probably have magnitude. Just send it back to the address you received it from whenever you buy or earn more BBP.

I would suggest to lower the processing power you spend on Rosetta, or buy BBP on an exchange to increase your staking to 20BBP/RAC (which is about 160.000 BBP in your case).

You need to stake at least 1 BBP for every RAC you have. Since you now have a RAC of about 8000, you need to stake at least that amount. You are currently below that amount, and that is why you aren't receiving any rewards  Smiley

Hey Guys, thank to you all right now I mining at level 1 It's not the best but It work and work well.

your help was essential to mine and to understand how to mine.

Thanks for the loan I will return it as soon as possible
Thanks a lot

Ale

You're welcome Smiley Great that you understand it more now. It proves to be a challenge for some new users to really see al the steps necessary to be able to mine the way that is best.

In your case, you have a lot or RAC but not enough BBP to stake. You would probably earn the same if you just had one PC (at this moment). But things are as they are, and it's great to see that you've stayed until you figured it out.

If you have any suggestions on how we could provide better information with regards to setting up Boinc-mining for new users, I'd love to hear them.

I think that this is our best guide:
https://www.biblepay-central.org/en/mining-how-to/

We're still working on making it even better, so all input is appreciated!

Anyone else getting "Runaway Exceptions" ?  This was after the re-build index.

Meanwhile, we are still looking for people that want to write some letter to orphans. The bounty is insane at the moment (3000+ BBP), so if you ever wanted to earn some easy BBP, now is your chance.

When you write a letter, please try to answer the questions that the children have asked in the letter. You can click them right from the writing screen.

Just go to pool.biblepay.org, and then to 'Orphans -> Write Letter'.
All these children still need a letter, so just click one of them and start writing. The letters they have sent are right in the bottom of your writing screen.

@Rob. Really, great job with the letter-writing system as is now is. Really easy to write letters now!
Oh, and is it correct that there is a limit to the amount of letter that someone can write (about 3 I think).

Thanks, and please upvote these letters also, as we seem to have a shortage of upvoters.  Which keep them from being approved and the writers paid.

Note:  The breadcrumb trail is working now.  The crumbs are green.
