To help coordinate our exchange efforts, would be nice to have a list of exchanges we've contacted and occasional status updates, cost for listing, etc.

Is a list of this type already available somewhere?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

As mentioned, I have been overloaded here the past few weeks, and I expect that to continue for at least another couple of weeks.
As a result I have not yet had time to contact any other exchanges.
Sorry about that guys and gals.

I think we used up all of our exchange reserves to pay the CryptoBridge Exchange listing fee,

CryptoBridge has the most Masternode Coins:
https://twitter.com/OmniAnalytics/status/980805986905620480

CryptoBridge has higher Volume:
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/cryptobridge/
http://www.cryptobridgestats.com/

https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/c-cex/
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/southxchange/

and we plan to go live after our next mandatory release comes out,

should be interesting to see how it goes, and its decentralized?
Ive never used CryptoBridge, but Ive seen it mentioned a lot

Do we need any additional help in Testnet Rob?

===

I do think Jaap has ~3 million BBP on the market for sale for exchange fund from last months proposals,

but we are still probably a few months away from having 2 BTC saved, cost for CoinExchange.io listing
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/coinexchange/

But there are exchanges that have free listings, we could contact again
and there are still ones where if we get enough votes we can get listed

I just found I missed last POBH payment for block 53505. Is there a way to know why? Nothing changed since block 53300 and I have several PODC updates.
From the pool website, the rosseta leaderboard only has the lastest block. Is there a way to check the block 53505?
Easiest way is to check on biblepay-central.org. There is a history of PODC payments, PODC updates etc. The payments are not quite accurate, but give a good idea. Wink

Imho the phrase should be the payment history is generally 95% accurate or higher.  The history snapshot is taken from one sanctuarys view of the network.

There is a chance that a new cpid, or a cpid that had a change in magnitude was not viewed as part of the consensus at the time the history snapshot was taken.

But in general it should be 95% accurate or higher.

So missing some payment is normal? My wallet just had incoming transaction and PODC updates since block 53300. It is an old cpid. Nothing changed. What do you mean a change in magnitude? When will it happen to an old cpid?

I was referring to the accuracy of the historical info, not your individual case.

If you give us your cpid, we can try 'exec utxoreport cpid' and look for gaps.

Anyone has experience run Rosetta on ubuntu server with Intel 2x X5650 8G memory and HDD harddisk? I just checked and found I only got 50% cpu usage. What kind of setting should I use?
I already set
Use at most   100 % of the CPUs
Use at most   100 % of CPU time
Store at least   0.1 days of work
Store up to an additional   0.3 days of work
Switch between tasks every   120 minutes
Request tasks to checkpoint at most every   300 seconds
Disk
Use no more than   --- GB
Leave at least   1 GB free
Use no more than   90 % of total
Memory
When computer is in use, use at most   100 %
When computer is not in use, use at most   100 %
Leave non-GPU tasks in memory while suspended
Page/swap file: use at most   80 %

Don't know about Ubuntu
But on Windows 2x X5650 = 24 threads
8GB not enough
U need at least 16GB

PS: running these two old processors at 100% must be generating quite a bit of heat - lol

I run Ubuntu on my server.   Have pretty much the same settings.  I've not looked at cpu usage lately but typically from my recollection, was much higher than 50%.  I ran a few different RAM tests to see how much RAM I'd be using, and the sweet spot for a 2x X5650 with hyperthreading (24 total threads) was 24GB.  At 12 GB I lost about 15% of the RAC, at 36 GB I never saw it peak about 24 GB used.

Do we have any biblepay miners in Puerto Rico?

I got a question from Trevor:
"To make it more clear we are working on microgrids down there, and I have access to technology that would make mining extremely effecient while cleaning the environment. A type of geocircuitry that takes the most polluted places on the Earth cleans them and turns desserts green again. Back to Eden.

I want to connect with Christians in blockchain space, especially involved with energy."

I think he just wants to hook up with a Biblepay miner in Puerto Rico to talk about some new technology.

Thanks....

Rejected. I've decided that masternode coins can sometimes be acceptable, but Biblepay seems highly deceptive. For example, you say "10% of the emission goes to sponsoring Orphans, with provable contributions," but:
 - 10% of the monthly emission should be somewhere around 6 million coins, but the monthly trade volume tends to be only slightly higher than this, which is unbelievable if you're actually selling the coins in order to make donations.
 - This 10% goes to a hardcoded non-multisig address with no explanation.
 - "THE COIN HAS RPC COMMANDS THAT PROVE 100% OF CONTRIBUTIONS ARE SPENT THE WAY INTENDED" is completely false. The RPC command just totals up all of the payments to the hardcoded address. What happens after the coins go to that address is unexplained.
 - There is no non-profit registration, receipts for donations, any info about the people who are supposedly facilitating donations, etc.

Biblepay looks like a generic coin with hardcoded dev subsidy plus some probably-totally-fabricated marketing about orphans.

I saw him replying. Are you going to address his points togoshigekata?

1) is with no doubt false...not sure where he took his data but I saw way more than 6 mil bbp/month sold in the last 2 months on ccex alone...

2) He seems to be referring to the old way tithe was done which is no longer the case since BBP switched to masternodes and dash-like governance....

3) That is true. The RPC commands don't give anything else but the total payments to one address so it prob shouldn't be advertised as that as it is misleading

4) which leads to this point which is untrue. BBP is not registered as a non-profit but there are receipts from Compassion + you can call them to make sure everything matches..not sure if the 2 other charities could also give us "official" documents on what BBP does for them...

He seems to have very misleading information on the current state of BBP and I'm not really sure when he got all of that. All his points but 3) could be addressed really quickly and it seems that there should be massing focus/effort on proving 4) in an easily accessible and reliable way for newcomers...

Also forgot to add that the 10% should probably not be advertised or worded differently as it is "At least" 10% but the actual % has been way more than that.

All outbound orphan letters to compassion, bloom and cameroon one have been sent.

Thanks for getting that done! It's been a great experience writing letter to orphans. I always read the letters from them first to get a glimpse into their lives, it's really awesome to see the different BiblePay is making in these kids' lives.

I'm going to PM him now.  Hes wrong about our monthly volume, he obviously didnt track it.  I believe c-cex has trade history available in the API, and the days that I sold the compassion coins caused Double the volume (not slightly more than) because every coin sold had a buyer.

Hes also wrong about the deceptive nature.  Our RPC command only has the total, but the details are all stored in the sql database, and its pretty easy to reconcile since 95% of our children are 38$ per month (IE each record reverse engineers correctly).

We also had Ginger and Mike Lins statement this month that proves from inception to date all the money went to compassion (which is over 90% of the money we spent on charity).  She also wrote a blurb about our credit balance there.

I think he's specifically talking about this wording "THE COIN HAS RPC COMMANDS THAT PROVE 100% OF CONTRIBUTIONS ARE SPENT THE WAY INTENDED".

He's right on that point. There are other way other than the RPC commands but the RPC commands alone do not  "PROVE 100% OF CONTRIBUTIONS ARE SPENT THE WAY INTENDED". That wording should be modified. It is misleading.

As I said in the previous post, there should be an easier/faster way to prove the legitimacy of BBP other than the pool website.

1) You have to know that the information you want is there (aka it is not just a pool to mine)
2) Create an account
3) Try to find and reconcile the information yourself (including the proposals from the forum, etc)

Not all the information you need is also there such as more info about the two other charities or how to call Compassion to verify the documents are not fabricated.

I also think a mention of BBP on the official websites of the two other charities would be great on top of some sort of official statement/document to prove what BBP does for them.

In the end, there should be way to verify BBP claims in less than 10 minutes.

Just gonna add that in the meantime, I think "accountability.biblepay.org" should be way more advertised. It does not provide enough information alone (how to prove documents are not fabricated, reconcile BBP amount sold with proposals, other charities, etc.) but it is a good start.

Yes, you can click on the link in the wallet but that would assume I already have installed the wallet which I wouldn't do before "checking" the coin. I think that URL should be somewhere very noticeable on the official website and in the OP too.
