I've started to wonder if you're interepreting things as mean-spirited...  I believe some of this may be a language barrier. 

You cannot expect a non-native speaker to have the communication ability of a native speaker.

Just the same,  you cannot and should not judge a non-believer by Believer's standards.

Can you try to look past the tone, and look for the heart of the message?

I agree the pool site is "functional" but I don't find it appealing, I think it could do with a makeover.  I get this is not a priority right now, with the new source uploaded to github maybe someone from the community could take it up?

I think we need a volunteer to test out GIN, as I don't see mintnodes running watchman-on-the-wall.
I believe the mintnode is not going to pay a reward...

I'll try GIN in a couple days after I verify mintnodes will not work for us.

I e-mailed them, they currently run a generic "sentinel", they are looking at running watchman now.

My wallet is using 13% of my CPU load ( 8700k@4.7ghz) with genproclimit 6
Boinc is using 84% with 100% maximum load use in settings ( 50/50 RAH,WCG )
(Last percent goes for other windows task)

Should I reduce the work load of my wallet and set genproclimit to 1 to get the maximum power for BOINC and RAC score or wallet mining is important too ?
In the case that's important, how do i manage to balance everything ?

I updated the explorer to index more transactions at the request of Sun,
By default you can only see the past 100 transactions that happened on an address,
I updated to 10,000, It caused load time issues, it was set down to 250 and is reindexing again,
its currently around block 56,000

How do I calculate how much BBP I can get if I know my WCGRAC (or TOTAlRAC) and conditionally my Stake Level = 100%

Hello everyone,
I am a newbie in BBP mining (a few days). I have troubles understanding the implications of low starting BBP and rosetta RAC. Actually I have RAC of 1500 and 1002 BBP, so:

• Will I ever obtain any BPPs through mining+Rosetta?
• Will I ever catch the RAC (as my rack is constantly increasing) so I am considered a normal miner?
• Should I move (for now) to an staking pool?

Generally, you need 20 BBP for 1 RAC for PoDC (Proof of Distributed Computing) staking.

What does exec totalrac say in the debug console?

What's your CPID?

I have been looking at the RAC in rosetta, not in the console. The cidp is 81f0dd3062412d78e0182dcecf56cef5
I have been a long time user of Rosetta/Boinc, but I added the team 3 days ago and register the CPID yesterday morning (as I needed some time to obtain the first BBP so link the wallet to the rosetta account). If I try to add one again my account as a Distrib. Researcher, it sais it is already linked. But I cannot see 'On success, you will see your CPID (an identifier to link Biblepay with Rosetta@home) at the bottom of the page.' CPIDs is Blank, as well as the RAC there.

Another topic is that I've mistakenly added my wallet and rosetta account to unbanked in pool.BBP.org. I cannot see any way to undo it. I just deleted the info there, but It does not seems to undo.

The unbanked is the problem: unbanked wallets can only boinc on smartphones but are not allowed to boinc on PC's.

So now you must re-associate your home wallet first with your CPID:

exec associate user pass true

Wait 6 confirms

Type:
exec getboincinfo


Then if all is well - then the exec totalrac command will work properly.

I think i'm seeing an issue with 1.1.5.6 client,  if you use setgenerate to change settings the hash counter gets stuck at 0.

Little CPU usage and hash counter is 0 with getmininginfo.

if you launch the client with generate and cpu cores set it seems to behave ok.

I'd like to help solve this permanently, as I feel we need to get down to 0 problems, and simplify this for the influx of new users.

So on the latest version if you run the 'exec totalrac', does that total rac reflect the correct sum of both your wcg + rah or is it off?  If you run 'exec getboincinfo', does that command output the correct WCG and RAH rac individually?  Another words is it apparent where our calculation is showing a low UTXO?

now "exec totalrac" display correct data in 1156

After yesterday payment, I removed "utxooverride" and all continue to work well.

Yes you are right, it seems like right now you have way too little stake balance for too much computing power. The normal way would be to reduce the computing power on BOINC to lower your RAC, then wait until you get some payments. The moment you get payments, that's when all the errors on the pool should disappear. Then when your balance is growing you can increase your hash power towards BOINC again.
The other possibility is of course to buy some BBP on an exchange. Right now it's really cheap and you shouldn't have to pay too much USD (or whatever) to get you started.

However, to speed things up we could make an exception and you could just post a receiving address here and I'll send you some BBP so you can get started.




Edit: On mintnodes there are now 2 MN installed and they both show "enabled". Can someone explain why they shouldn't get any rewards? To me everything looks in order ...

This isn't the place to publically argue about what you believe is right or wrong in your own subjective ways;  I'm not proposing we make this forum into a public spectacle.

Work it out among each other - PM SVK Noko and gather his requirements, and set up the changes in a github change request.
