Can you please try upgrading next?  Ive already upgraded my sancs and home node, and the exchanges have upgraded, so at this point it would be counterproductive for me to downgrade just to see if they are on a fork.  We can ask others, if anyone else is running the old version if they are going on a fork?

Upgrade works fine. The expectation from the previous communication about 1.4.8.4 was that 1.4.5.3 should work until the mandatory cutover block height. This doesn't seem to the case. Its not a big deal because the cutover height will arrive shortly, but it'd be nice to help wallet users plan better.

Ive noticed this problem the past month or two (and seen a few other people report similar issues in discord), Whenever I totally delete all the data files for a wallet and spin the wallet up, it seemed like it would take 10-15 minutes to even start syncing

Looking at our 4 dns servers, I see the problem, apparently when we switched to dynamic ports, we no longer listen on 40,000 by default in these core nodes.

So lately Ive come to the 'assumption' that we know more about our own crypto, community and the blockchain in general.  I make the assumption that we are good at two of our three dimensions (see the dimension doc), (mining and innovation), but poor in use-cases for our native currency (aside from our shiny new dashpay rpc command).

The other assumption I make is we need a lot of new users - through PODC (or, in general).  And, we've agreed that we will get our expenses under control, not by limiting mining expenses through QT, but instead by limiting Charity expenses to 10% starting in 2020, by limiting POOM to 10% of our emissions. 

I've been thinking on the 'solid use case for the native currency' a lot over the last 2 weeks.  Here is a spreadsheet of the ideas so far:

Imhpo, I feel like God is leading me toward an online church.  Im thinking that we possibly start an online church that accepts tithes, and allows guest pastors to preach.  Im thinking of creating a sermon myself (as a guest pastor), but more like once per month so that I can handle the IT creation of the church itself.  Of course the congregation would be able to tithe in BBP, chat in the chat box, and pray for each other.  The main service we would provide is exposure to those seeking the gospel that might be housebound (or, are not ready to go to a real church).  I can also see a need in the end-times, for pastors who want to talk about Revelations, Hell, Martyrs, Spirits of God, Rapture, etc (like me). 

But to clarify, I am not ready to say that an online church would be the silver bullet.  I feel led to create a service for biblepay that allows physical mail delivery (direct mail integration) and postcards and greeting cards first.  Then once that is in beta, focusing on potentially creating an online church.  Ive been buying domain names for churches (and also for potential rebranded names).  Ive got a couple pretty good names (Saved.nnn for a church, and a three character domain name for a crypto, but I wont post these yet to prevent poaching).

I've upgraded my sanctuaries to the latest wallet version (1.4.8.4.) and cleaned them as per Togo's guide. Everything seems to be working fine, but I can't seem to vote.

We create the external purse for you automatically now (when you type exec rac) if it has not been created.
To clarify though all of the GSC system requires the purse now (even WCG).  So it simply has to be there for any reward to appear in the leaderboard.

We just ask you to fund it manually (we dont check to see if it had a balance already).  But you can manually fund it by typing 'exec bankroll qty denom'.  Or you can see if you already have enough by checking your 'Christian-public-key' balance.

IX wont help in this case, because the non-financial-transactions are required to be 3 deep for other nodes to see them.
Some day in the future we can fix that but it requires a hard change.
