what if the whole world bans BTC, are you still continuing to invest or buying bitcoins?

If the whole world banned BTC? What about other cryptos?

it is funny you say the whole world banning it, each country has different laws and most countries allow it. I don't see that that would happen.

If for some reason it did, I think you would see a lot of people using VPNs and TOR to get around firewalls and hide themselves. I would still use it, its just like video game currency in the way of being digital, they would have to ban video game credits/gold too lol.
While I do not think we are going to see a worldwide banning if it happened then it seems very unlikely we are going to see just a bunch of laws that are impossible to enforce I think that what we are going to see is an attempt by ISP to block bitcoin traffic, besides if they went through all the trouble of blocking bitcoin then it is very obvious they are going to block and ban all cryptocurrencies and not just bitcoin.

Whatever might be the scenario prevailing around, I feel that the growth will continue to take place. In an article posted days back a higher authority of a banking system gave an explanation that the bitcoin will grow high, but could explode due to the intervention of China and Russia. It's good to save and keep it safe studying the market.

No government can ever ban Bitcoin, it will keep rising, the more you try to ban it the worse it will get for the governments trying to attack it: look at Russia. Rubble volume on BTC is blowing up.Saying that imo there will be no ban on bitcoin as they will see it is near impossible to enforce with decentralized exchanges popping up for trading coins and goods. In my mind they could only regulate and ban centralized exchanges and services.

It won't be ban in all over the world but in some countries who are facing financial crisis to develop their country because of undue payment of taxes.
If its banned worldwide then there would be no other online money earning methods left and all companies won't have their Bitcoin block chain to rise their progress.

I don't really think that the whole world would ban BTC. It is really impossible for the whole world to ban this Cryptocurrency because they could lose tons of fiat if ever they will. And if they do, the BTC will drop it's rate and that could be an advantage. You could buy a lot and wait for it to be available again.   Grin

I no thing like that will happen in a short time to come, but that will take a lot of efforts and time in as much as we think the negative aspects let us also take our time to contemplate on the possibility of our thoughts. We use bitcoin in our every day life and yet have negative thought about bitcoin. For bitcoin to be ban all over the world is going to be a mission impossible due to the decentralized natour of bitcoin which make it impossible to be control by any government or country.

If that phase in our life comes it would influence all the holders and investors of the BTC. Crypto world would change for sure and altcoins would disappear in the instance. Noone knows what the future will bring for us but the current state of Bitcoin progress is showing us that its implementation will spread even more and more companies will accept it as a mean of the payment. Because of that spreading, it is unlikely that governments will ban the main crypto that is changing the world. Countries cannot control Bitcoin cause it is decentralized but they are slowly accepting it cause that is inevitable.

This will not be possible. If they want to ban it, then it should be banned for a year for Bitcoin to be launched. I'm afraid on what should be done. Maybe this is the first time that I would go something bad. I mean something will break the law and continue to use and earn bitcoin. But how can the problem be converted into cash? What is the underground thing

can not be banned all over the world. Some governments do not accept bitcoin. Because they can not control them. It is difficult to control.

I don't understand your point of view, how countries of the world will ban the Bitcoin?
Is it possible for countries to ban the internet? Bitcoin will stay for ever until existence of the internet.

I think if there was a global ban of Bitcoin and crypto, I would likely leave the sinking ship, as I would not like to go to jail for something alike. But its unlikely that this will happen anytime soon, at least I dont see it coming.

I agree, the only way to limit the use of BTC is to turn off the Internet. It's impossible. BTC has no physical form and can not be deleted. I do not think you need to worry.

I actually like the idea and technology behind block chains. Maybe I wont invest so much if it is not profitable anymore, but definitely I would still remain a big fan Smiley

IMO there are options how to do that. e.g. they could just ban the exchanges (make them illegal bussiness or charge them so high taxes to be unbearable ...), make illegal fiat transfers to exchanges (I think banks would cooperate more than happily). This would hit the BTC community hard. Not complete destroy but I believe lot of users will be scared and dump their coins.

This is impossible to happen, There are a lot of people who are placing their hopes on bitcoins and invest a lot of money on it, If bitcoins will be banned in every country then there is a lot of companies who are going to lost their business and a lot of complains in the government will be coming.

I don't think this point is relevant. Taking example of 1920-1930 alcohol prohibition. There were also many established businesses. We all know it was not so useful and how it ended but still happen. Sometimes the desperate government make silly decision, so why not this time.

Governments will try to take measure against the trend. So I suggest everyone to be prepared for what is going to happen next. If possible, report your income related to bitcoin. So when it is asked you would not need to worry that much.

I dont think so that it will happen, because bitcoin right now is very popular all over the world, bitcoin right now is shocking the world with the price of it so it was very impossible to happen, thats the bitcoin wll ban all over the world, maybe bitcoin can be ban with some country but not all over the world.
