First of all, what is HYIP, and why would you invest all your money on only one thing? The key to investing is diversification (never put all your eggs in one basket, if the basket falls, or your eggs are done for). You need to diversify, by owning different kind of coins, in your case you should have split your 25k by ten, and invest in ten different projects, which three of them should be BTC ETH XRP or whatever is the top three. What you're doing is very risky and dangerous, it can make you rich if you are right, but in your case where you have been wrong, you got completely rekt. I think that behaviour is indicative of a gambler, and you should better keep away from the crypto markets all together - if you want to get back to it, and want to invest that much money, invest half of it in projects that are already well established, and maybe the rest to ICO's. Never invest everything in only one thing.

Hypothetically you can but it's wise not to follow it.
Altcoin is a charming investment opportunity but blindly jumping in something with all you have would be a bad idea.

For me definitely not. You need bitcoin to buy these altcoins. I would prefer keeping bitcoins than collecting alts. I would trade them but wouldn't keep them long.

The same way you can make a living in a casino. You'll win some, you'll lose some, and at the end, the house always wins... My recommendation: gamble a little, but save most of your funds for the future.

Not totally we will depend on a single coin only, having a lot of back-up coins is much better. Although some altcoins having potentials but we should take another precautions for it will suddenly drop. But I've still believing on them that they can survived for any crisis happen.

this is an investment with great risk. therefore the ability to predict and read altcoin market movements is important. the greater the risk the greater the gain or loss that may arise from investing in altcoin. to be honest I still have a lot to learn about altcoin. therefore I still can not leave altcoin

I recommend you do not try to make a living out of investing in any coins! Especially if your new to the cryptoworld. You will have to think about long term investments such as Bitcoin, try make some money out of that and if you see your doing well, then invest later on in Altcoins. Gradually you will be able to make a living out of Altcoins. Best bet would be to have a part time job and have crypto on the side, to earn you that extra resource.

As I observe here in cryptocurrencies many coins have potenial to pump up, but the percentage that you will gain profit is 50/50% but if you go with bitcoin or etherium you can be sure by the time pass it will give you good salary income from your investment.

If you are going to go on trading you need ample experience and knowledge you could also do bounty from altcoins you must diversify if you want to make a living from altcoin, few people make money from trading altcoins it takes time and experience compare to bounty where you only need to promote the coin you are participating.

Absolutely possible, just needs tons of time, research and guts. Also a bit of luck. Also look at the % gains, not the raw $$. Begin with smaller stack and build it up!

If you will do trading then you can make a living from altcoins because that is the easiest and most known as a way of making a living with altcoins because you just need to buy low sell high from an exchange and if you will stick to that then you can make a living without encountering difficulties.

Hello friends,.

U might not know me.. well the google don't know me either. I m actually "THE NOBODY" ...

I need to know if is it possible to make a living playing with altcoins Huh

I need to know it coz i, after blowing all my cash(25000USD approx) to a HYIP, is now struggling seriously in life,. and it is after this incident that i started to study bitcoin and other coins seriously as i now need to make a living very badly..

I have put all my trust to altcoins as i don't have enough to play with bitcoin,.. and i have been trying to collect a few airdrops and bounties.. and hoping that this move work well.. but after working for the last 6 months it seems as if this won't work or atleast not in a short while.. so i decided to show up here and ask u guys as u guys have alot of experience dealing with cryptocurrency,.. now can you guys answer my simple question ?

Can we make a living using altcoins Huh? that too in the short run, or should i put my luck to test at some other field and should move my sorry azz out of here Huh

Thanks in advance ...
Man,  a friend of mine, has earned tens of millions of dollars in altcoin from $ 50,000. So I think that you can earn money here

I tried to see if my sole income could come from altcoin alone early this year during some break I had at work. To be honest with you, the cash flow was not just there. The altcoin could providesupport for your main incom but to stay on alt alone is not possible

I would say no, because of the high risks that come with this kind of living.
You have too much to lose especially in the very beginning! Better to keep your day time job make some money and when you save some, make small investments later!

I wouldn't want to invest in something as high risk as Altcoins. Alot of research needs to be done, and caution must be taken! Work full time till you earn enough money then when your ready, invest in altcoins to make some money on the side. But dont quit your day job until your comfortable with cryptoworld.

It's only as risky as you make it.

It's too volatile to trust for a full time wage.... unless you were an early adopter of course!

Trading has absolutely nothing to do with early adoption. Trading is the short term flipping of assets, which makes the actual price of them irrelevant.
