yes of course any altcoin have opportunity for grow and rise like bitcoin but no the price.
like ethereum, I'm happy if the price increase but If the price is too high. fee for transaction (GAS) will be expensive.

there are many altcoins that have their rising speed even more faster than bitcoin, such as Ethereum and Dash, these coin have risen more than 500% in just few years, we can the the potential of altcoins can be much more than bitcoin, but i can not sure will they have a chance to defeat bitcoin or not, we just have to wait.

It seems to me that they have no chance to outshine bitcoins. People trust only bitcoin and the government of many countries legalizes bitcoin, and not alternative coins. Because of this, altcoins will always remain in the shade

As of now no other coin's have the potential to fight the bitcoin maybe in future decades we can see the change only if another coin shows more advantage and usability than the bitcoin (bitcoin also has flaws).

Hello. I am convinced that bitcoin will keep its position for many year, maybe forever. But other coins have the opportunity to develop and to be competitors four bitcoin in the future. In my opinion, the best chance at top 10 of alt coin.

Now there are many promising coins that are much better than bitcoin by tech. But they can not overtake it for the price. I think that in next few decades nothing will replace bitcoin.

With the increasing pressure of governments on cryptocurrencies, I think it will be harder and harder for altcoins to have the same increase bitcoin had. For that reason I would say that we should take a closer look on application tokens that have a utility other than mere especulative growth, such as AppCoins or OmiseGO, to name a few. I believe that this a solid way to go.

Today, bitcoin is already on the top or outstanding coin in the whole crypto world. There are lot of altcoins are performing great but it is very far from the bitcoin rate..and i can say that for now,  any altcoin cannot rise like bitcoin, but if those will have the potential and rise quickly, then maybe.
