XRP for me is for long haul hodl. With respect to its most extreme supply it will require again some investment to achieve it's unequaled high. The market today is exceptionally hazardous, so on the off chance that you trust that its on its ath why not consider of pitching some level of it to take a few benefits. You contribute, so you're expecting for a few increases. Whatever remains of it hodl.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I'm thinking of acquiring some ripple but i need to know if it's a short term investment or long term.
Coz i have been following the market trend and I've not seen a steady increase for the past few weeks.
So, is it for long term or short term?
Coz to me it seems the coin has some potential.

There is a potential, a fairly stable coin and of course, as a conclusion, a long-term retention, and for this you need at least five years to feel the profit.

I think it depends on you. When this cryptocurrency reaches the price you want, then you can sell it. Everyone's investment method is different, and everyone has their own unique investment in the project they invest. Insights, so others can't give you too accurate advice.

If to speak objectively then Ripple is one of the most promising players on the crypto market. And the negative background that is poured on him from all sides only confirms this.
I think Ripple / XRP is a better play than most of the altcoins out there. Because it is backed by Google and many banksters are involved into it. It is alsoone of the fastes currencies out there.

In my opinion, Ripple is a long-term investment because their team has worked with many well-known companies.

Ripple (XRP) is definitely long-term. Yes the news is a lot. the future of ripple will become coin bank because banks use ripple technology in the speed of transactions that the bank needs in the future.

I think the best one it to analyze the XRP coin, put take profit and wait until it will hit the targeted price. Will it happen in a few days or weeks is not that much important in this case.

I think this is a long-held coin. He is the same as Bitcoin and is suitable for long-term investment. But when the price is high, you have to remember to sell it.

Ripple (XRP) is definitely long-term. any banks across the world use it as the basis for their own settlement infrastructure and also their developer team is good. And also for short term any coin will not give you better return. There might be price fluctuation in Ripple for short term. So my advice is focus on long term investment it is best.
I also would like to say that I agree with the answers in this thread that say "long-term". When it comes to Ripple, it's not profitable short-term, so I hold.

I bought Ripple for the long term.  Ripple is backed by powerful people.  I don';t buy it so much because it's the greatest coin ever.  I buy it for the people and the idea behind the coin.  I think the big boys like ideas like this and will back it and hype it in the media when the time is right.

The price behaviour of ripple in the cryptocurrency make ripple a short term trading coin for me. It is also very tough for me to keep a cryptocurrency that is not fully or partly decentralized. I will short ripple for short term.

If for me, ripple is better suited for the short term. Because the price movement of the ripple is also quite quickly happen. So it is unfortunate if not utilized properly.

Ripple is a long-term investment for me because I see Ripple has a very bright future and great potential. Now Ripple has fallen a lot because of the decline of the whole market, but I don't care about the short-term ups and downs, I What I see is that in the next 1-2 years, Ripple is likely to rise to more than $5.

I think Ripple is suitable for long-term and short-term investments, I think this is the right time to buy Ripple, you can buy at a fairly low price, I'm sure the next few months Ripple will increase, I think Ripple will skyrocket in 2019.

Ripple coins will grow in the long run. This serves the banking system, and the bank's network, especially stability and durability. In addition, more and more different financial structures are turning to the use of these coins. However, it would be great to combine long-term investment with periodic ripple trade with a clear increase and price decline.

ripple is actually a good altcoin, it has a great potential, but many people are considering it not a good altcoin because it is a centralized altcoin, but for many people, who can really make a profit from it, saying that it is good for long term.
