Help with signature formatting

I want to put a link to a thread in my signature of something like the following:

But it doesn't seem to be showing up (maybe it's going underneath it). Anyone know if it's possible for me to format it to get it to fit? Maybe it's not possible but if someone can help me out I'll appreciate it.

I can't actually run any test due to the fact that my rank doesn't allow that amount of characters. However, I've found a pretty good guide here that teaches BBCode within the rules that are established here.

Since this looks to me (without testing) a problem of sizing vs available space, perhaps Lesson 11 would be of any use?
