I say mine LTC and then sell half of what you mine for BTC, and then stack both.

As far as I know, Litecoin will give you better returns at the moment.

However BTC has a larger market though I do like LTC.

It depends if you can get the full kH/s out of your card mining LTC.  I am getting 650-700 MH/s BTC with a 7970 on very cheap hardware - old motherboard, 1gb ram, etc.

I tried going to LTC hoping I could get more $$$ doing 650 kH/s, but my hardware couldn't handle it.  I started getting bad shares around 300 kH/s, and once even crashed my motherboard with a 'thermal event'.

So yeah test out where your hardware max out mining either or, and then decide.

Thanks I'll mine LTC then. Anyone can suggest me a pool? I heard about Give-me-ltc but I'm not sure of what it is so...

Thanks!

I use that pool.

And I agree that LTC is the better way to go for now.

BTC is too sketchy.

Too scammy.

Too much BS in BTC.

LTC is more profitable then BTC and you have more chance to make profit by holding LTC then BTC.

LTC is 30% more profitable mine. And it's also going on mtgox the largest exchange platform, which many people are speculating will lead to a nice increase in Litecoin price.

I therefore recommend mining LTC and holding onto as many as you can. I will be shocked if the price hasn't gone up in 2 months.

LTC is more profitable with a GPU then BTC because with the ASICS the difficulty for BTC skyrocket.
Give-me-ltc and weminelt are both good pools for LTC

The sooner you switch your GPUs to LTC mining, the better (for your wallet)
However, lack of adequate/reliable pools is still an issue
