I don't have a crystal ball, who does? Never speculate with poor information, never follow, trust knowledge. It's not a matter of how low, the rebound will be explosive as it has always been evidenced through history. Crashed to $200 from $1000+, rebounded to $2000. Crashed from $3000 to $1900, rebounded to $4500. Crashed from $4500 to $3000, rebounded all the way to $7000+.

You cannot underestimate the impending mainstream market investment in Bitcoin.

People seem to think that bitcoin cash will replace bitcoin, we do not know what the future holds for us but the thing is bitcoin is not going anywhere, it is here to stay and it will be very dominant against the other coins. They can sell all they want which will give way to us buyers, we can monopolize on the situation buy now and reap the rewards soon. Bitcoin will hit 10k soon and people who invested in bitcoin cash will realize that and then buy bitcoin again.

we don't need that long for off chain scaling to be here and many don't even like the off chain solution anyways.
right now as soon as bitcoin cash runs out of steam and the whales start cashing out for their profit and the miners stop mining it because the difficulty becomes real,... everything will come back to normal.

currently bitcoin cash has a higher hashrate than bitcoin but an extremely lower difficulty and a much lower price. that makes it profitable to mine. all the hype is an illusion, as soon as difficulty of it corrects it will be higher hashrate than bitcoin, higher difficulty than bitcoin, much lower price than bitcoin. the result is too obvious. the hashrate will flee to bitcoin and will put an end to the pump.

You are totally right about that. That Bitcoin cash is going to replace Bitcoin is just silly thinking. As you said they will start buying bitcoin again as soon as they realize that bitcoin cash wasnt the big player they thought it would be. Its always these people running behind the hype. Eventually this is a loosing tactic. I dont have a christal ball eighter, but 10.000 per bitcoin by the end of this year or even sooner is possible in my opinion! All hodlers are going to win in the long haul. Thats how it has been and thats how it will stay!

Most probably its price will  going to the moon,there maybe great competitions with the other coins or altcoins but its better to HODL it and sell it in a perfect timing.Many bitcoiners believe it would recover sooner..bitcoin cash is not a threat to bitcoin,its just that  its only making its own history as well..and those coins that have just started is a part of bitcoins history and look up on bitcoin.
It would pump high and get back to $7000 sooner or later.

Yeah, just hold your bitcoin and wait until BCH prices going back to the habitat. Stay focused on bitcoin and keep up with the news. Let's see if this will be a turning point BTC and back to $ 7500.

CME futures date is still yet to be known.

Seems like Chicago Stock Exchange has to fill few regulated documents in order to be able to list the coin.

I do believe that it is going to positively affect the bitcoin price but no one can tell, there are so many events to be happened before CME futures go live.
As HODLERS we don't care about future events, all we care is to hodl our bitcoin as long as possible, as it is going to become mainstream soon.

Long term hodlers just laugh at all the people here panicking. It has been happening since way back that people lose faith at the time the market is going down, so nothing new to see here.

I am hodling for a reason, and have been doing so through various market crashes and such, and that without getting distracted. Don't forget that we at current levels are still up more than 500% this year!

The problem however is that people mostly buy their coins at near top market levels. If the price goes down from there, which is most often very likely, these people get upset and lose their believe in Bitcoin, while it's their own fault.

A few weeks ago LedgerX was going to transform everything under the sun. Have you heard a squeak since it was launched? Me neither. Same for CME.

18 months is a large amount of time to wait for any type of improvement in scaling. I hope it arrives an awful lot sooner and many more people start making use of Segwit in the meantime.

It will be a long path because the CME is going to put bitcoin on the Futures table in more than a year from now, there were some speculations about those people who said that they were going to start trading those futures in less than six months from now, but we all know that it is impossible because there is no way that they could just add bitcoin in less than a year, it has no logic at all.
But yes, once that it is listed, it will be a boom, i am sure that bitcoin will skyrocket a lot, but there is more than a year left until we can see that!
