It's happens like few times, bitcoin price drop back and altcoins rises, but in the end bitcoin always recover and reach new ATH.
None of those altcoins could replace bitcoin as the first and the king of cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin price declined significantly, mostly because blockchain network get flooded with hundreds of thousands of unconfirmed transactions and bitcoin hashrate have switched to mining bch as it's more profitable right now. But, after difficulty adjustment done, most hashrate will return to mine bitcoin and bch will fall again.

Bitcoin will always be the king in the crypto world. All of those altcoins are worthless without bitcoin. Even there are a lot of altcoins that are getting popular that everyone is investing right now, people will still go back to it's mother which is bitcoin.

In the coming months, the same drama can unfold but one thing for sure Bitcoin will always remain on its throne as the King. Well, do we have to kill the King just to make another coin prop in value? Actually, there is no need for such a bloody mess as all coins can co-exist peacefully with each other. We are all part of the cryptocurrency movement and if we are not united then maybe the dreamed massive adoption will not come true. Division and putting down each other should never be the hallmark that should define us here in the cryptocurrency movement. let BitcoinCash be the Queen and Bitcoin as the King...now please don't poison the King so that the Queen can assume the throne because there can be a bloodbath when that can happen.

I could not agree more. But then I think Segwit2X was not the last hard fork attempt and Bitcoin Cash comes out of this drama stronger than before. So we'll see more poison in crypto than before because everyone wants to benefit from BTC forks (the new ICOs) and the BCC clan wants to claim the throne. Seems like everything has to end in drama

Bitcoin once again proved that it is the main crypto currency that will be accepted in the world, after an obvious manipulation on market prices Bitcoin was able to regain its price back to $7000 level, so yes it is the King.

I have some concerns few days ago, when people started to sell BTC to buy more BTH, cause i thought it looked like a world crypto redistribution capital process. But when the dust settled, we see that it was just the big whales`s game, lucky attempt to knock btc out of weak hands.

I was surprised to see the BCH exchange rates falling below BTC0.15 per coin, only a few days after threatening Bitcoin's top spot. A lot of people who invested in BCH might have lost their money.

BTC has never lost its crown....it's just an expected dip. Just a sudden rise of BCH make people think that BCH will be the new king or so....but all this is a created propaganda by some influential people to soar BCH in order to gain the profit. But that bullish trend won't able to last for 3 days. Again all started shifting to BTC. BTC recovered and created a new record in just 3 days.

Exactly, there is only 1% possibility that Bitcoin is overpowered by any other alt coin. Otherwise Bitcoin is going to stay upon the top no matter how many forks are created to pull down the value of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the king of crypto-market and will always remain to be a king. Unlike other altcoins bitcoin got strong basics and people's belief with it which help it to retain the crown on its head. Even bitcoin dominance has increased to 56.2% after segwit2x cancellation as compared to 40% in june17, which is a good sign to be the crypto-market king

What do you expect for a pioneer, of course bitcoin will always retain it's crown as the leader in crypto currency price. Why would investors invest on an altcoin alone and not invest on bitcoin? Investing in crypto currency already has a high risk why increase that risk by investing in altcoin and the recent price manipulation on the BTC and BCH price just let other people to learn from their mistakes and might not do it again in the future that will lead to new investors going to bitcoin alone.
