When will altcoins boom again?

I'm 100% alt coins.  Missed out on the BTC run up.

Bad strategy, bitcoin is the biggest coin in the entire market you cannot have a good portfolio without bitcoin, you need to have a big amount of money invested in bitcoin that way when it goes up and your alts go down you do not lose money, I know that the profits you can get with alts are greater but you need to reduce your risk by investing in Bitcoin as well.

That sounds very funny. Go all in all altcoin ? Why would anyone ever want to do that ?
You have to take some measures and not put all you have totally in altcoin as you may end up sweating in your intestine once the unspeakable happens.

No one can predict what can happen anytime and you always have to be careful of the move you make when you are trading. In as much as the chance of altcoins getting pumped is possible, you still have to spread your tentacles little by little so you don't get burnt.

I think it could be better to wait till mid December. It’s not the right time yet. I will start investing that time but I’m think more for low budget investments, if you are looking for a tip about high amounts , you may ask other people.

I am feeling sad again when I last looked at my altcoins in my Blockfolio account. My goodness! Everything's crying with blood all over my portfolio. Well, except Bitcoin. Because it is Bitcoin that is the number one culprit for all these, its $8,000 plus breaking once again. The feeling is actually both happy and sad but sad primarily because my portfolio is largely made up of altcoins. I wonder when altcoins will really boom again.

I can't says what altcoins are boom this month or in next year 2018, because all altcoin seems have a good foundation in crypto currency community and it means that they can build a good relationships to all users of digital currency.

However, In my opinion ethereum, bitcoin cash and waves are the altcoins who increase more their value in the future. Because even they have a lot of problem they can manage it easily. Otherwise their systems are fully developed so they have no doubt that in the future they can easily adopted.

Crypto in its current state is still primarily speculative, so actually trying to pin point the future direction of anything in this market is just guess work with next to no value.

Hm yeah, could be. Whats the reason for the uprise though? Anybody knows? ETH was struggling so hard to break through the ~300 area, and now suddenly ~350. Thats a bummer.

We need the competition between BTC and bitcoin cash end for this. Noody is buying altcoins because they don't find them secure, as expected.

We'll need another strong bull market for altcoins, but this is likely to happen in mid 2018, around May, probably. Which means, we have to wait much more for our altcoins.

Of course nobody can predict the exact time. But if you are not able to monitor the market all day and catch the right moment
I think the best way is to add step by step to some of your favorite altcoins when pullbacks happen but also always keep some btc. This way when altcoins
start growing big again you are already invested. Much better than jumping on the train when it has already left the station in my opinion.

Seems like altcoin bottom has been found. All alts are very strong although Bitcoin jumps from ATH to ATH. I expect heavy moves soon.

I think bitcoin will keep going up till the end of the year maybe it will be 10 000 usd, then after that altcoin season will begin probably in February or March. But altcoin is so low right now, it can be a good buying opportunity if you have a few btc and want to gamble. Maybe altcoin season will come sooner if Btc doesn't have any fork but I doubt it...

There is a probability that other crypto may boom if the price of bitcoin again falls below 6k$. Plus the ever cancelled hardfork may even affect the crypto price either negatively or possitively. If you are looking for big profit, you may look at cryptos other than the top 10. Hodl then sell.
