They do seem like they would work well together. It does not have to be bitcoin specifically though. Any kind of digital currency will do.

Bitcoin and Virtual Reality are a mismatch. It is too difficult to implement those things together. They are only related by the word "virtual". But if you are actually thinking Virtual Reality devices that can be bought by paying Bitcoins, then that's possible. Being a digital currency is an obvious purpose of bitcoin.

I dnt think there is any game which allows payment with btc.so i dnt think you can combined them.though i may wrong
Yes there are still many sites and people who do not accept payment in bitcoin and do not allow customers to use the ease provided by bitcoin, but o worries in future it will happen soon because now some educational institutions have also accepted fee in bitcoin, they have realized the fact that without bitcoin the race with world will not be possible, soon this will happen every where
