Take a look around the crypto community, both in meatspace and online, and it would be fair to say that the majority of participants are male. This is borne out in a recent survey of 2,000 Americans which shed light on the makeup of the bitcoin space, highlighting a stark gender divide. In fact Google Analytics data estimates less than 4% of bitcoin users to be female. The question is, why? Read More

You should use the proper form to post here. It looks like it is more a personal opinion than a text from the press.

I would probably guess to start off because cryptos is mainly numbers and math. I think these fields are generally male driven fields. Take into account the trading which is also a male dominated field. Then you have something like code and cryptography which also male dominated. All this domination and combination of skills leads to an industry that heyo no surprise is driven by intelligent males. Not saying women arent smart enough
of course dont get triggered I am purely observing the facts and this is the logical conclusion to come to.

Is this blog yours? You should check the layout, it's not quite right.

Anyway, probably there are more men in bitcoin, but how do you determine exactly the number of male and female users? And what if men are more active in trading but women just hold and therefore are not that visible? I understand that can be the case with older forms of investment.

Lots of the reasons are outlined above, but I'd also say that there could be tons of female coders, investors, and marketers hiding behind anonymized avatars and usernames. You're probably talking to more of us than you think you are.

Well as others have outlined.

A good Question.
When this number grows it must going well with BTC.

Overall crypto communities are overloaded with males.
Back in the day the community with the most girls was girls4bitcoin.  Grin

It's impossible to get an entirely accurate measurement on this.  Google Analytics data can't show how many people of each gender hold BTC or how many of them use BTC-related sites.

However, considering that it is an extremely male-dominated field, one common explanation is the stereotype threat, in which previous male dominance in technology-related fields (which was affected by sexism in the development of technology during the mid-20th century) affects future dominance due to the fear of social rejection.
in memri.tv they say women have inferior brains.
When subject to neutral IQ tests, the difference between men and women is usually regarded as non-existent or negligible.  This is incorrect.

To emphasise and support the women who do take part in blockchain companies, Digital Currency Group regularly shows information about women who work in blockchain.

I can't provide you any data or proof published in any form of writing but based on the community (stocks traders then transitioned to cryptocurrency trading) that I belong with, almost 80% of us are men and only the remaining percentage are women. This has been always the case when it comes to any financial-related sector in our country and also reflected to our community. Women tend to divert themselves from financial matters and pursue a different career that mostly coincides with their femininity. Again, this not a generalization but just an observance of mine.  Roll Eyes

There are more women in this field than you might think. The altcoin DNotes has made it their mission to make the cryptosphere a friendly place for women in order to get more women involved. You can check out their thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1924858.0;topicseen

I think is due to the kind of risk level available for both male and female. Male are risk lovers than females. That is why , woman tend to believe a asset management in stocks because they believe men make good choices when it comes to investment.

I wouldn't agree on that. Before you can say whether a decision is good or not you must know each others goals. Young male tend to be more risk driven than other population. That is the way to make more profit if you are lucky but also way to lose it all. So I wouldn't call all choises better, only different and hopefully suitable for that person.
