The token is used to reward nodes for their compute of Crowd Apps. It accounts for work done in a micro-ledger of sorts. Where a process is handled by many possible nodes working to complete computation for the app and a record of their contribution is made as the processing occurs. As the computation is completed and returned reward can be distributed proportionally through a broader ledger.

Beta testing is not really alien to me. Have done it in the past for some really cool gadgets and user apps. But this is the first time getting into the developer's shoe. To start with, the smooth interface and great tutorial is making everything tickety-boo. Looks like this beta will be adding some real value to me and everyone else. There is no hard cap as we are allowing the public to decide the value of the tokens rather than pegging an arbitrary value. There will be 1.6B tokens to be fully distributed at this fluctuating rate. This combination creates a “no hard cap scenerio"

Can we trade the token before the main sale ends? It will end at may 2019 but I read in the whitepapere that we'll receive the token in our erc20 wallet during the main sale
