Airdrop distribution

How does one distribute a erc20 token airdrop to all the people that joined? This wil cost some ether for al those transactions right?
Tried to google this but can't find any helpfull info on this Huh

maybe do transfer one by one. or maybe there's an application to do that at once or special script.
