I would like to find out if anyone has been able to withdraw their Bitcoin Gold via Coinomi? How is it done?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Hi, folks ! I have easily imported my Private key from BTC core wallet to Coinomi and redeemed equal amount of BTG! That works fine,
Worth to advise: you'd better take away those original BTC from that wallet, which private key you gonna import to...

I had btc in Mycellium during fork. I used Mycelium's seed in Coinomi to claim Gold there.. Instructions are online. From Coinomi I transferred Gold to HitBTC and traded them to BTC.

So it all depends where you had your BTC during fork.

Ps. Coinomi is legit, but there are scammers which  try to pose as Coinomi. Please see

Coinomi is only Android.

Is another way to get BTG?

Great advice, removing your bitcoins first is very important. Thank you for that.

I had btc in Mycellium during fork. I used Mycelium's seed in Coinomi to claim Gold there.. Instructions are online. From Coinomi I transferred Gold to HitBTC and traded them to BTC.

I agree, I have been using Coinomi for a while now. It is legit.

Coinomi is only Android.

You are correct Coinomi is on android only as far as I know. Which wallet do you use, I'm sure in time most wallets will support, you will just have to wait a little longer.

I've written a tutorial on claiming BTG via Coinomi that I hope may help a few people: https://bitcoin-investors.co.uk/2017/11/how-to-claim-your-bitcoin-gold/
