Okay this will address some of my problems today. But in the case I feel the distance between the GPUs seems very narrow and wondering if that enough to exhaust the heat

It's a bad design if you have to rely on external blowers to address the issue.

This design is cool in concept. Poor in execution.  No way I'm buying this motherboard that has the GPU this tightly packed together,  Keeping my risers.

I suggest this design needs a few more inches to provide better card spacing.  Otherwise I'm not touching this board.

K17 board is epic fail , only good for 1060GTX setups  , mine couldn't fit RX570 Pulse GPUs and barely fit MSI 570 armor only to die after first 5 minutes and taking away msata HD with it , it was working fine for two weeks with 4 RX570 Nitro GPUs becuuase it couldnt fit all 8 GPUs and i was waitting for the MSI/Pulse to arrive

unfortunately i had only one , I ordered one sample of 3 different boards ,K17 , Colorful and Onda , both the Colorful and Onda been running for two weeks now with 8 RX570 GPUs doing ETN/XMR , tested ETH for few minutes only because GPUs heat up very quickly if you dont have forced ventilation(extra fans)  and since the Onda was the best choice i ordered sample case and waiting  for it to test the Onda under ETH and Dual mining for long periods  , to see how far it goes .currently i am only pulling 850W from the wall .
Also note that colorful board setup started to smell after 5 minutes  of ETH but i wasn't sure if it the GPUs or the board.

but here goes it has worked well running  evga 1070 ti hybrids  I want it to run  eight evga 1070 ti hybrids.

I got my 7th one today.  the build is open case.

the board has 7x  6 pin pcies in

the board has 13  6 pin pcies out

it is a great board to run 1070's  that have 1 pcie jack
it is a great board to run 1060's that have   1 pcie jack.

op has a good case idea for farms

not homes.

if he sold me a case I would want 8 of these cards in it

case would pull   1000 watts dc  for  1070
case would pull   1100 watts dc  for  1070 ti


it has 7 jacks in  so 1100/7 =  157 watts a wire

if you   have a server psu  you could feed 7 input jacks

don't use the output jacks  use 8 cables to the   8 cards from the same internal psu.

that lowers draw on the 7 jacks in.

I linked blower style   cards  for a reason  

combined with the 6 case fans  they would work well to cool the case.

I don't think this would ever be a quiet case  but in a warehouse  on in my solar array loft it would be good.

As you seem to have seen some different motherboards of this style, which has the largest spacing between GPU's?

The too close spacing is my main concern.

Onda Board is longest board due to large slot spacing compared to colorful and K17 , K17 is the shortest  ,

Hi Everyone! Some of you may know me or have done business with me under the name Sequoia93. I am here today to share a mining motherboard and case solution I have developed after being frustrated by the lack of available options. The intent of this post is to gauge interest in the product as well as to open the design to feedback before it is finalized.

The motherboard is an extended length with:
8 PCIE slots
1 LGA 1151 CPU Socket
1 m.2 slot
1 mSATA slot
2 DDR4 SO-DIMM slots
6 six-pin power inputs
2 USB ports
1 Integrated HDMI
1 Ethernet Port
1 Physical power button built board (pin headers still available)

The case is similar to others on the market. It has ample space for various models of GPUs and can contain a server PSU as well.

looks nice, but IMO the slots are too close together.  at best, I'd only popular every-other slot.

having used

  the onda j1800 six slot
 the onda b250 8 slot + 4 riser
the k17 8 slot no name

here is what I have found  all of them are great with evga hybrid cards or msi sea hawk cards

these cards look like this





















if you do not want water block all the boards are spaced too tight and need more fans

the onda b250  has the most space and can do  6 of these cards set to 200 watts using a high end atx like a corsair.

I know this because I am running one at the solar array















The k17  can use a server psu  which is nice  it spaces a bit tighter then the onda b250

it can do 8 1080ti's using a server psu  but you must  wire the board  correctly or you will kill everything

in order to do 8  1080 ti's  you need the 2400 watt delta and you need 24  pcie cables

feed 8  six into the board  from the server break out board.
feed 8 six pin into the six pin jack on the gpu use the server break out board

feed 8 eight pin into the 8 pin jack on the gpu use the server break out board

set tdp to 200 watts.  it will not melt the board.

if you use the feed through option on the k17 and exceed 800 watts  the board fucks up.

this took me a long time to figure out.

at the moment I use 5 hybrids.  if you case this board  it will need a lot of high power fans to cool off  the gear.

and I would not use the feed through on all eight cards.

I do believe  I could get 8 1070's to run in the ops case safely .

the onda j1800 has the highest spacing
I got 5 1080 ti hybrids to work doing 200 watt each 0 issues

In all my setups  If i pack the cards in I use hybrids

Does anyone have the colorful version of this board?  I just got one and I'm a little curious about a couple things.  I'm trying to post a picture but for some reason it's not happening. I'm having probems with the photo but here's a link to the

I’m currently running the Onda b250 d8p-d3 which is similar to what you picitured without the output pci-e plugs. I guess yours is more similar to the Colorful board. The only issue I’ve had is finding closed case options since some of these boards are different sizes and have different screw layouts for mounting.
