Which is more profitable trading exchange or mining and why??

In my sight, trading is much profitable compared to mining, though both of this job are needs capital but I choose trading as one of the good investment.
This is my example:
If you invest in mining it took a long period of time before you recover your investment and also you just need to spent much electricity. Are you agree?
On the other side, if you invest in trading and choose one of the better coins you can easily recover your capital together with your income, also in short period of time you can easily doubled or triple your investment. Are you agree?

Don't use mining websites, they're not doing mining, they're like HYIPs. If you're interested in mining, do it on your own.

With trading websites, I think you mean exchange platforms such as Bittrex, Binance, HitBTC etc. You better start trading after learning it well.

Also BTC0.01 in mining can't take you to nowhere. Mining sites? Cloudmining? Even the legit ones can't give you good profit for BTC0.01 capital. But overall they have different background so comparing them isn't making a sense honestly.

Yeah that's right maybe you just need to make your own mining, because if you relied only in mining sites I'm sure instead of earnings you will possibly gain scammer.
Moreover, I suggest to used Yobit, cryptopia or cryptodao because they can offer a good list of crypto currency with good price.

0.01 in mining makes no sense, it is only a few more bucks than $60 dollars, and  you can not buy anything with that amount of money. Maybe you can invest that on a cloudmining site, but it is not worth it, because you are going to lose your money in there, and obviously, your time.
And 0.01 in trading sites is worst than cloudmining, because you need to be more than hours in front of your computer in order to make a few bucks a day, and it is not worth it too, because you can lose money in there if you dont have previous knowledge about that.

Are you pointing out to "mining" through cloud? That's not really worth to invest, most of them that are now existing are likely to be scam. Trading is the most profitable way of earning bitcoin and with other alt coins too and with my situation there's nothing wrong with investing to the "real" hardware mining (GPU) for having the capacity to invest for those GPU's, what matter to me is the expensive consumption of electricity.

Don't be too serious bro. Maybe he just want to open a topic and you know, it could also help the people who are new here. Yes, the answer is so obvious, but that doesn't mean that you will try to ask the person if he is drunk. You are also right that you can have income just by posting in this site but if you are the kind of person who wants additional income not just from posting but also from trading or mining, then let them be. It is their own way of multiplying their bitcoin.

Trading as you can leverage your money to make more money - though you need to actually be good at trading

Mining difficulty is too high so you wont get much return from it, plus considering the initial investment needed for hardware and the potential at any moment for that hardware to break etc in my opinion isn't worth it.

I would recommend trading but don't risk more than you can afford to lose and don't risk more than 1%-2% per trade.

Yes trading is the most profitable now if you are an experienced trader. Because, there is a lot of pump and dump in cryptomarket.
If you are newbie in trading then i suggest start to practice first in forex or stock using demo accounts. (Practice makes perfect)
Long HODL is also good in crypto trading as long as you know your coin product and future development.

I know about genesis mining but still it's up to the people that wants to invest there. The return with their contracts is something that I can't think and even they are trusted by many people I don't buy that. I had a bad experience with those "trusted" cloud mining before that are operating for years and then they just went off together with my investment so I don't consider it anymore. If you trust them it's up to you but my bad experience about cloud mining will never change.

There is no question that trading is profitable because you have total control over it. You can invest big or small depending on your capacity. As compare to mining or cloud mining which recently have been scamming people out of money. So I would never go to mining but will continue to go to trading, although there is risk, its up to the individual on how he/she mitigates it.

why ? because right now,mining is no longer profitable,you need to pay an expenses which is quite many while facing the difficulty.
everyday the difficulty keep increasing and because of that the rewards will be decreased a lot,
other than that someday we need to do the maintenance and replacing other stuff beause of overused/old.
compared to trading,all that we need to do is to read the market and the movement.
everyday we can get the 'profit' if we're good enough,
compared to mining,we do not need to pay anything some like ; expenses,maintenance,etc etc.

Sure,I do agree that trading can be more profitable than mining. Mining is costlier in any country you live,even in china because of the massive usage of electricity and updated computers in terms of graphics like updating from GTX 950 to GTX 1080 Ti etc and in terms of return I think one can get a return after like 1 year or something. Trading on the other side,is more user friendly and does not require a technical background or knowledge which is required in case of mining. The only harm in trading is that sometimes, one can make a wrong decision or even the exchange in which one trades has a possibility of getting hacked.

I have some bitcoin and I can't decide if I invest it in trading or mining, however regarding to the reply of  some users I think it's better if I invest my crypto in trading. I have some bitcoin and I can't decide if I invest it in trading or mining, however regarding to the reply of  some users I think it's better if I invest my crypto in trading. Since I have some idea regarding that, I've seen that all I need is to improve it.

If you have limited budget go for trading but if you have good enough capital for building your own mining site go for mining method and i can say that both are good source of income here in crypto and it always depending on the capacity of individual users.

Mining is very long-term investment option. You are indirectly investing in the coins you mine by first investing in mining hardware. Due to the time and overhead involved, you are likely looking to ROI on a longer timeline -- many months -- probably with intent to hold for years.

If you are only looking to invest in the short term, or swing trade/day trade, you are much better off buying coins and trading. Then you can properly hedge day-to-day and you aren't tied down to your fiat overhead costs. You can always quickly ditch one investment and move to another with your capital intact.

trading is not profitable anymore because we all know that bitcoin is always going to be on a bullish trend, and it means that the opposite is going to happen to altcoins.
When bitcoin goes up, all those shitty altcoins below the top 20 start to go down for a lot of money, because all those guys start to put all their funds in bitcoin in order to make some profit from that.
And the same scenario repeats tons of times a week, this might be the reason of why trading is not profitable anymore.
better to buy some good antminers and build your own rig, it will give you a lot of profits in a few months from now

That's not necessarily true. It's much more complicated. I've been trading BTC since 2013 and altcoins since 2014. What I've realized is that all the markets go through different cycles. Any two coins are not necessarily in the same part of the market cycle. Sometimes we see positive correlations to BTC, sometimes negative. Sometimes there is seemingly no correlation at all.

When BTC is trending upwards very fast, I find that you are usually correct. However, BTC will often consolidate before continuing upwards, and during these consolidations, altcoins often rally. This is in spite of the overall bullish BTC trend.

The decision is always on your hand sir, anyone in trading and mining are both profitable. I suggest that choose the investment that line on your fashion, because if you do that you can easily adopted the environment you choose.
