They are essentially the same card just clocked at different speeds.

so how? ive been looking on internet but no info at all.Except about unlocking 290 to 290x.

will flashing any 270x bios to the 270 card work? what is the best option to achieve this?

ive just seen comparison on number of transistors and all that and there is no difference except clock speed.There might be one pci-e slot less so less power it depends if the brand (like Sapphire) added one.

So probably there is no need to flash 270x bios unless it will maybe allow yout o increase voltage etc more
