Hi there:

I'm interested in finding resources to build a team for a new token. We're an existing profitable business that has a concept for a token that hasn't been successfully approached yet.

We've been developing this idea using good old fashioned USD.

Where do you typically look for people look for team members? Surely there must be people in search of a project.

Beyond that, since this is an emerging market, it's difficult to ascertain the experience and skill levels of developers. How do you rate general abilities of crypto developers?

Thanks

It would be helpful to explain what sort of existing business you have, that way people can get more information if they are interested in that industry. It would also be helpful if you posted your budget, how people will be compensated etc

i think every 12 hours someone new tries to build a new token team, why dont we just make the ownership of a currency a standard human equipment which every human has, so every human can buy things from others with their own personal currency.

Most developers can be cryptocurrency developers(remember cryptography is different from the usual currency development - developers in cryptography are highly paid and coveted). The underlying technologies behind cryptocurrencies are the same ones developers have been building for years. It just requires a different thought process and most good developers can easily get up and running once they study the codebase.

You can also go to local languages forum here to find specialists. I'm sure there are many cool people who can help. Something like linkedin may also help.

I think he's asking right here, because many here are engaged in both simply using crypto currency, and creating and propelling, so there are obviously more experienced people here than on linking. But still it would be interesting to know what kind of business it is, just tell us at least the area, there's no need to make secrets out of this

OP did  the right thing to post a thread looking for a willing member of a team, if anybody wants to know what kind of project they are going to make then it should be discuss privately and if everything is fixed then that's the time to  show  it in public, so if anybody who is interested then you can send OP a message regarding to the skills you have so there will be no spamming in this thread. The market is so saturated with new projects and ICOs, making it hard and confusing to make informed and educated decisions about whom and what to trust nowadays. There are so many fly by night schemes inviting people to invest in them. Some are frankly very shady and questionable. Some are sophisticated and impressively structured down to the smallest details to make it even more tempting to join them.

This may be an emerging market but there are so many ongoing and established projects and there seems of be a pattern of introducing something along the lines of "something new and exciting" which later transitions to something risky.
