If it is true and if it has been already confirmed, then it is going to be a good situation to see bitcoin going up again, maybe we are going to see it going upto $10k because a lot of people will start to invest again in order to receive those bitcoin silvers for free.
but it is annoying, i dont know why they just picked bitcoin "silver" it is weird because we already have a silver version of bitcoin, and it is the Litecoin, and it has been on the market for more than years.

What you really can do is to ride with them. This is the game of bitcoins, take advantage on whats happening, do your buy /sell  , collect the free coins. Because soon there would only be one King and that is Litecoin lolz.

Segwit2x cancelled, BCH have given so many issues in BTC transactions though still free dollars so not a problem, Now comes Bitcoin silver!!

I think Bitcoin Silver will experience the same failure as BTC2X, it proves that nothing can replace Bitcoin.

You know the drill if ever there is another bitcoin fork. Price of bitcoin will go up again, altcoins will bleed again. It is a good opportunity to buy your favorite alts. Bitcoin holders will have more free coins and then sold it again for the true bitcoin. It seems that the forking is never ending. Before the actual fork, bitcoin price will surge and then altcoins will have a temporary party before bleeding again. In times when bitcoin is having a major update or move then altcoins are more affected and it is only during the times bitcoin is having a stable price when altcoins are able to make their move.

It is confusing. I checked the YoBit exchange and they are still permitting YOB2X / BTC trading. I even got free YOB2X coins a few days back (I dumped them immediately). And check this:

people which have bitcoin balance in yobit is getting free YOB2X and i see a lot of people is trying to dump the price and selling their yob2x to make profit.
but for bitcoin silver, i am not sure that the fork will be apply and maybe it will affect with bitcoin price in this month. and if there is another dip in price, i think we can be prepare if the price is down but i am hoping that there is a panic selling if the price is down too far.

This forks isnt making any sense, the big holders keep growing their capital since they can dump as well collect more of those forked coins and manipulate the market later, something bcc has made these days, and it were more profitable then bitcoin, these forks has becamed airdrops, and well the developers are making easy money and looks like we will get all months a new fork...its insane i had thinked we were mooved away already.

Seems so. There is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding this fork, and the guys behind this are not very active lately. Perhaps they were forced to change their plans after the cancellation of the SegWit2X fork. But if it happens, then I will be happy. More free coins for me. Bitcoin clones are better than altcoins.

these are going to be "joke-forks" when random idiots start creating different versions of the same thing just like how they did with thousands of altcoins. it is a very simple process of copy pasting code, but the idiots think if they copy bitcoin they can become rich!

we should get ready for a wave of 1 satoshi worth forks in the near future and all of it is thanks to bitcoin cash because before that fork nobody even thought about doing something like this.

we can at least be sure that soon all of this will fade away just like how shitcoins did.
