Hi.

Ive made 8h ago a recent withdrawal of .8 btc from poloniex.

Transaction is confirmed from their end, but I have no working tx and neither I see something on the blockchain.

For those who had that situation before, in how much time that situation was fixed ?

Thank you.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Yes, I have had this problem before. Contact their support and after some time they will get it fixed for you. When this problem happened to me the SECOND time, I decided that it was best to switch to Bittrex. The funny thing is... my funds got stuck transferring them to Bittrex...  Shocked

Good luck and I recommend that you switch to Bittrex as well. I have been using their services for about 3 months now and I haven't had any problems. Tongue

It is a mess to withdraw bitcoins, it is not poloniex fault ,it is almost impossible to withdraw bitcoins from all the exchanges because the mempool is so congestioned right now. If you are in a hurry, then let me tell you that your coins will be pending for some hours.
I have several payments being unconfirmed right now, and there is nothing that we can do in order to push them, we only have to wait a little bit, and if it is an exchange transaction, then it will take longer.
Suck all this situation, this is getting me mad.

It seems that the other repliers have it correct. This is not Poloniex's fault... this time. The Blockchain is very congested and it will take some time for your coins to be mined. Just be patient and try to get in contact with Poloniex's support just incase it is their fault (a mistaken confirmation on their end).

Good luck and stay safe! Tongue

I thank you very much guys.

I am not in a hurry, I was just hoping that my fund wasn't lost or whatever.

I made some huge tradings last night and just wanted to be sure I'll be receiving my bitcoins. I can wait a week I don't mind.

Poloniex isn't among the best exchanges really, they have plenty of problems.
No reason not to try binance, they seem ok.

Is there to many issues regarding poloniex exchange?
How long range do face the second issue from first issue?

Poloniex is very large and it operates more like a stock brokerage than a Crypto exchange. They experience issues much more often than other exchanges, like Bittrex, simply because of their size. I don't feel that the Poloniex Devs have adequately adjusted to support the massive growth of their exchange.

The two issues were slightly less than a month apart (I am very active with my currencies). The average user would likely not experience issues this close together.

Good luck and stay safe! Tongue

If you dont wrong to put your withdrawal address i think it will process shortly.
As other suggestion, contact the support to get more information that can make you more calm.

Hi guys, I just want to say that after a ''small'' wait of around 15 hours, I've received my btc.

I thank you very much for the answers you gave me, I was able to remain calm in the meantime.

For those who has answered, paste here your btc adress, I'll send you a 0.0008 btc tip to show you I'm grateful.

Reasons for congestion? Is the congestion on-going on the blockchain?

Really, what's with those btc fees at the moment? Will that ever get sorted out if they don't increase the block size?

You should wait 24h-48h. Sometime they fix their system so the withdraw take longer than usually. Submit a support ticket to Poloniex is useless, it take 2-3 months before they reply you. That's the same problem i had before.  Undecided
