GUIminer not working with 7870 (Tahiti) included screenshot of error.

Been pulling my hair out trying to get this program to work, can anyone offer any suggestions?
So far I have only installed GUIminer and registered an account with mining.bitcoin.cz.

I'm running a Z77 system. I have a thunderbolt monitor plugged into my motherboards thunderbolt port. I have done the dummy plug thing to my graphics card, all seems ok in ATi CCC and works perfectly with other applications. Also using latest graphics drivers.
I do have lucid Virtu MVP installed for gaming purposes and works fine.


Below is the ID error I get before it then says ValueError: Need more then 1 value to upack.

Just tried using a different pool and still get an error. Also forgot to mention I'm using windows 8.

fixed. I needed to remove 8332 from the host.

many problems are from connection pool- your Internet provider...
