hello,

my electrum balance is 0.0333 btc upon sending it only shows max amount 0.0284 and yes got the fees slider in middle no change on max amount upon moving slider way to the left. it should show max amount over 0.03 right..
this is strange and I have no unconfirmed payments whatsoever.

btw using 2.9.3 version

after upgrading to 3.0.2 no change still see 0.0284 as max amount possible to send.
whats wrong and how to fix this?

This is probably stistill fees. Can you post your address here (or PM me your master public key from the wallet dropdown menu).

Alternatively, go as if you're sending the transaction, and click preview. This won't spend anything until you click sign. Post a screenshot of this here?

You said you put the slider in the middle, but how much it's showing in the "Fee" field? It should be showing 0.0049BTC since you have 0.0333BTC and can only spend 0.0284BTC (0.0333 - 0.0284). Go to Tools -> Edit -> check "Edit fees manually". Now you can for example, move all the slider to the left and lower your fee a little bit and press "Max" again.

E.g: Electrum is suggesting me a fee of 435 sat/byte if I put the slider in the left, but that's extremely overpriced. I sent a transaction with a 1 sat/byte yesterday and it took only 1 day to get confirmed (I saved up ~$5).

This won't spend anything until you click sign. Post a screenshot of this here?

after checking the box in preferences next to edit fees manually the max amount rises to 0.0326 and the fees are at 0.000756 I can rise the fees to 0.00216 and see max amount 0.0312

looks much better this way

Thx a lot!

Ah yes thanks for noticing that slip up HCP.

It appears my autocorrect has gone AWOL again (needs updating).

There isn't a master private key in electrum though that'd cause confusion luckily as even though the seed technically is one/make one it isn't recognized in itself anyway.
