When I saw the HUGE volume today trading downward I was sad; once I saw 90k of today transferred into a Fallout themed wallet...

Not necessarily, just make sure your blocks are smaller than 10000 to avoid hitting the max stake reward of 1000.

Good luck!

I like big BLOCKS and I cannot lie...

I used to go for 10k blocks but having hit the 1000 Cap a few times due to my wallet being locked/offline I now chunk blocks up in the 6000-8000 Caps range. I also let them split once or twice before re-combining them:
6000 > 3000 > 1500 > recombine into 6000

So, assuming the nice round number of 2,000 bottlecaps, Bethesda has given us a handy conversion rate for 2015 dollars into post-apocolyptic bottlecaps: 33 1/3 caps to the dollar (BTC0.00011270)...

Why doesn't this coin have a website?

It seems like a very stable and healthy coin, but when you have to go to bitcointalk to download the wallet, and read about the coin in a forum thread, it really limit the number of potential users.

Sorry if the topic have already been discussed. And i don't own any caps. Atleast not yet. Smiley

Why doesn't this coin have a website?

I asked that question initially, even bought a domain related and considered putting something up. The rub is this coin is healthy and listed exclusively on the largest altcoin exchange, (by volume and number of alt's,) without external hype or propaganda. Other insta-PoS Blockchains churned up tokens and then tried to build value, often leaving burned bagholders in the wake. The fairness of CAPS distro is evident to all - Mine-using a hardware friendly algorithm, Market-buy at fair prices, Mint-Multiply by holding CAPS and demonstrating your stake in the future.

The BottleCap(s) Blockchain is the fairest mining/minting distro spread over time.

Please vote for Bottlecaps to be added to Cryptopia. I've seen people complaining about Cryptsy and after using it a bit I begin to understand why Wink Having caps at another exchange can't hurt.

Edit: Bottlecaps was delisted from voting because "it doesn't have a website". Rules are rules I guess :/

Anyone having trouble down loading block chain? My client quit loading blocks on Friday July 17, 2015 around 6pm CST.
Block chain appears to be moving, been using 2.1 version. Uploaded 2.2.2 to see it that would start blocks loading on this
client. Have 10 connections, not sure what is up? Version 2.1 has worked well for almost a year now. Anyone have a
clue on why not able to down load blocks for past day?

Peace, Dennis

It syncs fine here, perhaps your blocks are buggered somehow? Not sure what the best remedy is, perhaps someone with a bit more technical insight can enlighten us.

I'm on 2.2.0, sync periodically, and haven't had any problems.  What you want to do is view the debug.log file.  It should be in the same directory as your wallet.  If you scroll to the end of the file, it may give you some clues on what's happening.

Debug (last few hundred lines) could help.  I was behind by a week, just caught up on 2.2.0 no issues.  Could be a corrupt chain?  Check your time as well, make sure it is correct.

All 2.? use the same seeds and connection mechanisms, so it won't make any differences.  Likely you are experiencing the low default values of Mac when it comes to open files(and connections).  Read through this section on CCT and see if it helps.
