1.  Make sure your PC time is correct.

2.  Is your Wallet encrypted so it is not trying to stake until you are synced?

3.  Close the wallet, delete the peers.dat and restart wallet , any difference?

4.  Download the last Snapshot , Follow Active Wallet Instructions. (Be Sure to have a Backup of your Wallet.dat 1st.)

BottleCaps Snapshot updated to 2016-8-14 .   Smiley

as kiklo said  1.  Make sure your PC time is correct.
your symptoms look very much like desynced/unstable clock

nodes are here:
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/BlockExplorer?coin=CAP
and here:
http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/CAP/nodes.php

debug.log may also prove helpful

1) check upnp status on router if any, play with it - turn on/off,
try direct w/o router, maybe it's got "tired"

2) make sure you didn't forget "listen=1" in conf file

if neither helps let's do it brand new:

redownload the wallet, start with no data at all, except conf file with new nodes,
give it 30-40 min to wake up, if sleeping too long - apply bootstrap.dat

if nothing helps and everything is going down - call a nurse

Here is my peers.dat , if you want to try it.

If you are having issues with diamond too, then it is a PC or internet issue.

old laptop, cpu average 95%  ram full 98% (use big swap file on ssd)

now what i did i renamed the wallet.dat, keep my old peer.dat

i let it do

just took a look now  and  curiously it s sync now  Smiley

i putting back the good wallet now, i gonna do a repair, not sure if need

hope it s gonna be fine now

thanks for help this out

ha shit old wallet loaded but  it s out of sync again, must be something wrong with my wallet
gonna repair

04:28:39

repairwallet

04:28:57

{
"mismatched spent coins" : 0,
"amount affected by repair" : 0.00000000,
"orphan blocks removed" : 174
}

looks like you've hit a rare version of database issue,
which is internal shit and can hardly be fought in coin's code.
repairwallet won't help

dump your private keys from the old wallet.dat,
then import em to a fresh new one,
or if you don't have any substantial weight on coins,
simply send coins to a new wallet (new addresses)

P.S.
full-time 95% cpu load is risky, CAP needs some room to live happily,
it's not an issue itself but may cause issues like corrupted db and such

Yes but is it worth investing in. It is only on 2 exchanges and not too much is going on in this thread. Also a few months ago I heard of this currency and nothing was happening back then but now there is some more activity like the added nodes and things.

You'd almost think there would be another thread but no...this is it. In the nomenclature of a related game, the recruitment radio beacon is down the settlements supply lines are not connected. I've noticed some new claimed addresses in the Rich list and movement but as a community we definitely don't have a history of huddling together for comfort or bro chest bumping over BottleCaps.

Upside is the Blockchain is running flawlessly despite the bloat - Huge blocks are splitting like Lincoln was swinging the axe without issue:
http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/CAP/block.php?height=2273217

The inflation rate has steadily dropped from the possible 200% to hovering around %137. I've gotten a few random DM's talking about Blockchain swaps, stake into zSnarks + burn, reverse CAP swap/burn (21:1 reverse anyone?)...etc. Anyway, It's all words for now.

Have a great day all.

Actually the stake % is 109% according to the explorer, annualized.
