This is one of the best coins out there with an active dev, but there really isn't any team here that's serious about not letting the price fall.  It's at 2 Sat now, and with the %, may go into DOGE soon if you guys don't step up.  I'm on a Dev team now with GrowthCoin, which is a 5 year old similar coin, and writing the book I mentioned.  I can't do much for this coin but hope someone steps up.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

I got a lot of "Received Withs" in small amounts today.  Thanks for help to focus on the staking book.

Hope we can get a news segment on primetime with someone setting up a staking computer.
Or, a commercial with someone helping out his relatives: "just leave it on grandma and I'll come
back and pay you for it."

cryptopia is definitely gone to shits.

for the 5th time in a row in the last couple months deposits i send for CAP fail to show up.
support eventually after a week or two will credit me, but that sure destroys any concept of
market timeliness Sad

I have come across a new exchange that is in Alpha right now which could be a nice exchange for CAPS however its just a Doge coin exchange so it only has trading in Doge. If the dev and community is happy with this then I could put in a request to have CAPS listed, the current fee is just 10k Doge coins.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

We could also give exchanges the finger and start trading it here in this thread Cheesy
But to be honest: I would love to see an exchange having CAP as it's main exchange coin instead of BTC. And way more merchants. But that is a pipe dream.

Sure, looks good.  How do you guys feel about a teamwork with the GrowthCoin team/development?  It's a five year old staking coin and has just a tiny core right now (me included) of people working towards revamping it.  Maybe the two of us could grow together.

Not a pipe dream. The problem I see with a lot of coin communities is that there's many people that just wants to make a buck, but not willing to put the effort into making a real market for the coin such as goods and services.

Basically lots of people that wants, complains, but at the end of the day they do absolutely nothing to improve the situation for themselves or the coin. It's the same thing in society, that's why there are people that does well and people that don't. Projects that do well and projects that don't.

We have to look for the helpers and be one of them.  I would join a discord channel if you start one.

so true, that's why CAP must die, to stop eating up people's time and other resources for nothing,
not to mention their addiction to pipe lol

There just aren't a lot of established mid to higher percentage staking coins.  This forms a small party of coins with Truckcoin, RAIN, VersionCoin, Healthyworm, Bitradio, Chess,  and Compound.   I know there are a few others, like associated with the TALK thread.

Looks like so far I only got 2 people who gave donations plus another one valued at about 5 cents.  I'm working on it a little at a time.  Thinking the release time will be about two months from now, but maybe sooner.  I very much appreciate whoever has been sending the Bottlecaps donations.

Growthcoin has an active dev team now and for about a year nothing was done.  Bottlecaps had a lot of development work but it's quieted down now for a while.   Anyone have any thoughts on this?

There must be more volume, so that keeps us on there.  And/Or, that we have a dev who has done more work.

it's in maintenance for a week now, chasing some "issues", i guess that qualifies as dead, practically.
nearly a third of the coins on topia have some misterious issues

They just delisted a lot.  You would think with the downturn in the market they should just leave the coins as is to keep whatever income they are getting from fees.  Not sure how many new listing fees they are getting these days.

It's working fine on here:   https://freiexchange.com/market/CAP/BTC

As far as being on Cryptopia, we have to stay active.  Even trading this coin can be profitable there so buying and selling creates volume which they like and use to keep coins online.

if so, this is very negative news for the project as a whole. these exchanges have long shown their failure. if it's not a secret, where does this data come from? your guess or official news?

Still listed here: https://freiexchange.com/market/CAP/BTC

FreiExchange is very good. It only lacks volume.

I have seen a few tweets about Growth coin on twitter in the last few days so it seems this one is back. Are you suggesting that CAP and Growth coin come together to form a partnership? If it will help CAP then I'm all for it and I can help with promoting on twitter and also on discord. I don't own a large amount of CAP however I have been in CAP for over a year now and would like to see this project succeed in the long term.

A corrupt wallet could do that. Means that your wallet has a transaction stored in it that is incomplete.
