I saw a thread earlier asking about Philippine based or targeted coins, and there have been a few attempts at a country coin. Is this really something that we are interested in?

The purposes for others was for remittances, for general investing, for bills payments and banking, for OFWs, for rewards, for points.

Would we like something similar to Bitcoin ATMs where you can buy and sell on a machine?

I think mixture of both. ICO para malaman ng lahat. At alam naman natin na more Filipino ang mahilig tumingin at kumikita sa Airdrops. Sa ganitong paraan mabilis na lalaganap yung information tungkol dito sa project na iniisip nyo sir. Just my own opinion sir.

Sa tingin ko maganda naman kung may sarili tayong coins para sa mga ganung purposes. Di na need ng mga financial institusyon katulad ng bangko dahil magiging hadlang langi ito sa magiging ICO project. People are not reading the thread, this has been mentioned many times already. PesoBit as you know it is dead. There was a swap to a different coin. Anything you see on exchanges now are just leftovers. Actually, nag hit sya sa umpisa, at mag "hit" pa sana ng bongga, kaso, medyo meron konti (o maraming) mali nagawa ang team at devs.

Sang ayon ako dito, marami akong nakikita na mga pinoy na sumasali sa airdrop or karamihan sa pinoy kumikita sa airdrop. Kung hindi pumatok yung ICO sa PSB, siguro pwede din naman gumamit ng donations. Mas malaki ang community, mas papatok ang coins at mas makikilala ang coins gamit ang airdrop.

It's never a bad thing to start a venture. I think what's important is to make it reliable and although its success can never be assured. There should be at least an assurance that it won't be a scam or it won't just be a one-trick-pony because many people nowadays already think that ICOs are failures or nothing but scams. I think for it to work, the developer and company must show that it's serious.

It's never bad to introduce our own coin through either aidrop or ICO. It can give other local companies that idea to start their own and would actually have a wildfire effect to both big and small companies alike. However, what I fear with starting up a local coin is that some people may actually use it to take advantage of investors that would put the name of the country to shame. I mean, nowadays, many people are inclined to think that ICOs are scams, if not failures. Therefore, we have to have more safeguards to make sure that the projects that will be introduced in the Philippines would succeed to entice more people and have a healthy market for it.

Hello mr moderator. Maganda po ang idea ninyo. It will give more convinience to us Filipinos na gamitin ang income natin sa twitter. But so many po are to be considered. Of course i know you are aware na hndi ganun kadali mag build up ng coin. We need to create goodwill first of certain coin like that of bitcoin, bago kagatin ng publiko. Let's say gumawa tayo ng sarili natong coin which will be uswd to transfer funds, bubuy load, pay bills etc, and then people still have access to bitcoin converting to peso,  then as a user siguro in my own pploint of view mas pipiliin ko munang gumamot ng bitcoin kesa sa coin na bagong gawa. Reason is that wla pa po yung trust dun sa bagong gawang coin. Therefore need talaga to make users to gain the trust and kompyansa dun sa coin. And I guess it takes a lot of time. So if we are planning to make our own coin, better siguro to make it earlier as much as possible. For future traders sake. Thank you.

For me yes ! But for the others don't know but it will benefit the OFW's in terms banking.
The problem is that we can't attract much investors here in the philippines. Majority of here is they want only a free money.
I suggest na if ever that plans were going to be real, set an airdrop and for investors a minumum and affordable so there will more want to invest.

Lahat naman siguro sa atin ay gusto ito na mapalaganap at masimulan. Pero tingin ko mahirap ito kasi alam naman natin na hindi pa legalize sa bansa ung cryptocurrencies kaya mahirap ung sitwasyon na ito.
