LTC price 100 USD?

I'm really doubt about this question. LTC in my opinion isn't that much potiental to deserved a price at 100$ .

The Litecoin run-up in 2017 was driven by technological improvements of the protocol, not so much by growing adoption, IMO. We hear a lot about SegWit, Lightning Network, Cross-chain Swaps, that are intended to address complaints about the limited throughput capacity of Bitcoin/Bitcoin forks, yet users ignore them after each of these features get released on mainnet. It shows people are not yet ready to use cryptocurrency for sensible, high-load applications.

Organized crime groups would be in a great advantage of using DLT. Let's imagine a scenario (I hate drugs, addicts and everyone facilitating drug circuit, but it's the best example I can come with):
A Mexican cartel is smuggling crack through the US border. All value flows among the participants are in cryptocurrency and OTC crypto-fiat exchanges (like a currency exchange office) exist both in Mexico and US.
Blockchain as registry:
- ledger of raw material: data about harvest (date, location, quantity, quality) is introduced into the ledger, making small transactions to a specific address
- ledger of production: coca turnover (amount received, laboratory analysis, cocaine output), usage of chemicals (amount, concentration)
- logistic ledger (dispatched quantities, shipping timestamps, delivery agents)
- expenses ledger
- revenue ledger
- staff and payroll ledger
Blockchain as value vehicle:
- anonymous payments to staff using (Ring) Confidential Transanctions
- anonymous bribes
- fast payment collection from customers using SegWit transactions - average addict's transaction has more chances to get into the block (transaction weight is lower for SegWit)
- clearing between managers of facilities through Lightning Network - making prepayment, deposit insurance, locking warranty funds in a one-to-one channel
- transacting with competitor groups that use different coins through Atomic Swaps

Jokes aside, Monero has risen from $85 to $140-155 on August 22-25 on news that IRS has a working Bitcoin tracking software since 2015. Bitcoin transactions are completely transparent and even if mixed, can be traced with a significant degree of accuracy, so Monero was hyped as a potential tax evasion coin.

Certainly, Litecoin deserves the $ 100 price tag, but it is not far from reaching its deserved goal. Today Litecoin managed to come to the $ 75 level.

No, bitcoin cash went through a giant amount of manipulation to reach that price, and there is not interest from the miners to do that with litecoin, there is probably not enough money to be made in order to try that with litecoin, however I think litecoin could reach 100 dollars per coin in the next year or the year after, litecoin is one of the most solid coins out there and I think it could reach that price in the future.

BCH is 1000+ only because has bitcoin in its name. Litecoin, on the other hand easily deserves to be at least 100. I think by the end of this year we will see that price tag.

More people are focusing in bitcoin and its forks. I think it will reach 100$ but it will take a long time like any other altcoins.

Don't forget that the price of litecoin was in september aleady above 90$, so yes a price of 100$ is definitely possible, the only question is when. Charlie lee and his team are always busy trying to improve litecoin and adding new features.

Totally correct. LTC will reach another all time high value, ATH, clearly if the market goes well without price crashes and government crysis like banning, regulations and so on. LTC will reach $100 for sure.

Litecoin is one of my favorite altcoin and for sure this coin will increase more and possible the price will reach 10k dollars . So if you have extra money in your wallet it's better if you invest that in litecoin. Coinbase add wallet litecoin and thats good sign that the price of this coin increase. Those people bought litecoin last few years are now happy because they can earn more profit.

I think it has potential for such growth. But many external factors will not give a chance for LTC.
Still LTC is a field of experiments. Lightning is already implemented in LTC and Lee don't afraid to implement newly developed technologies. The biggest problem of LTC is Bitcoin's popularity.

Definitely it has potential for growth and it has really experienced some growth for a while and has been able to at least still stay relevant on the top 10 altcoin so far according to coinmarketcap. The chances of staying for long in that position is actually very low as so many altcoins with huge potentials may end up bounding it out of the way. Compared to holding bitcoin, it has not really been that much impressive of a coin to hold.

today at $70, if you tell people that last year, they will think you are crazy and its too soon.
