Zimbabwe as a country is currently at a crossroad, between the devil and the deep blue sea, not able to fathom which way is best. Few days after the military took over key state assets and institutions, keeping mugabe and his wife in custody, it is still unclear how the whole show will play out. There are already speculation of an interim government with no one really sure as to what shape it would take. What do you think will play out in Zimbabwe in the coming days?

Everything will be fine. The dictator will be removed, especially because he is over ninety years old. To kill him will not be, but the change of power will occur.

It will be more of the same, the replacement is also old guard and has a long list of human rights abuses stretching back decades, I can't se how removing Mugabe makes any difference (except now his wife won't take over).

Precisely more of the same. Its obvious some countries in Africa are expereincing some sort of turmoil after being free from colonial powers. I think it will take some time for the population to realize that there's better way to govern themselves.

The last update I saw was that the military was surrounding the presidential palace. I just hope that they make a smoother transition and that the military would ease that transition. For a long time Myanmar has been ruled by a junta but they have now making progress towards a genuine democracy. There's no reason why Zimbabwe can't eventually democratize.

This is What we call tactical coup,  military should allow interim government should in place for now, and leader of interim government  should conduct fresh election to the government position,   let there be calm in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, and 93 years old man should go and rest.

He really needed to get the boot. Sure Zimbabwe start getting fucked up after independence but this guy just ran it aground. You probably already  knew what happened to their currency. It became useless that it pretty much has been replaced by usd now.
