Hi, i have a problem with my moonlander 2.

I have a Raspberry Pi3 and 2 Moonlander2 on a 20W powered hub.
After a bit of work, one of the two moonlander go to 0 Mhz. Sometimes after 10minutes, sometimes after 48 hours of good work.

I try to reset raspberry and change the hub with another one but the problem persists.
I try to change the frequencies from 600 to 796 but the problem persists, i don't change any voltage.

Do you have any advice?
Thank you.

Try running each one alone at 600mhz. If they both run fine alone then the issue is with the hub.

Is there any problem with this "MLD 7" ?

What is (44%)?

Can the power drops affect this usb MLD's over time? This month the company who provide power, working on network and will change old power poles and some transformers.

the rejects are duplicate shares not hardware errors.. id ignore it.. the accepted is within the others.. so its not losing any speed.

Yes this is resolved with just a powerdown/reset of the stick. Its voltage should also be bumped up slightly compared to the other as that could be contributing to issue. Either way its not affecting your effective hashrate to the pool.

What's your profit per month?

IT IS A MOON SHOT--

I have one (1) Moonlander2.  It sits in the USB3 hub of a Mini-STX computer that is mounted on the back of a 32" HDTV.  The Mini-STX box is only slightly larger than a Raspberry Pi, but it has an Intel i7 7700 and 8GB of DDR4 ram.   I have set up a solo-mining pool for LiteCoin on the box, and am mining with the Moonlander2.

I check the LiteCoin wallet a couple times a day.  If I find a block, I'll have 25 LiteCoins.  It costs a penny or two a day to run.

On the other hand, you can mine on the default pool in the example configuration and earn about 1 cent a day.

The TV has a built in DVD, is connected to a digital antenna, and is connected to 2 GPU rigs as a monitor, also.  It costs more to watch TV than to run the Moonlander2, I believe.

Hi guys,

I am trying to compile latest source release, bfgminer 5.4.2 FutureBit Moonlander 2 Beta-2 Driver Release, on Raspberry Pi, from git (using git clone).

I use:

Code:
./autogen.sh
./configure --enable-scrypt
make

But Moonlander devices are not being detected. What flags do I need to use in configure? enable-scrypt is not enough.

At this difficulty with one Moonlander: 0,01 € for 24 hours. 0,34 € for 30 days.
0,0073 Litecoin.

I'm mining via MRR and renting them at quite good prices. For ex. recently received 0.0017 LTC for 6 hours (single MLD2)  ... thats like 0.007 LTC daily.
The thing is to set the price pretty high (not too much) so miner won't be rented all the time (only during demand peaks). If not rented you are mining at your defined pools.
Definitely recommending that site.

I am trying to configure my sticks to mine there too. However, bfgminer which I am using (bfgminer 5.4.2-38, original from jstefanop) is sending me errors:

Have you set: --no-gbt --no-getwork  ?? (MRR state that in bold)
I'm using same miner (released 14-dec-2017) and just copied conf. settings from their site.

That sorted it! Thanks. TBH, I had a look around their website and did not found this information, not even mentioning bfgminer.conf file. I applied these settings to my existing config manually and everything is working now Smiley

You're welcome.  So new competitor in game huh?  Grin

Just small warning. Couple of renters are using some wrong settings, weird pools or I don't know what but hashrate drops resulting in rental dispute and partial refund so don't be surprised (happened to me several times during last few weeks).
It's better to open ticket and stop this rental ASAP (so you can mine on your pool or rent to someone else).

Guess you still get the"NO DEVICES FOUND:" message. Right?
When you plug moonlanders in USB, can you see them in windows "Devices and Printers"?  There should be some "Silicon labs device" or so.

Yeah, its working.  Grin  Once you told me i needed to see devices in "Devices and Printers" I started suspecting connection problems.  I connected the USB hub to another usb 2.0 port and the Silicon Labs CP210x devices showed up.  I then went and connected the hub to a different USB 3.0 port and its working there.  but the original USB 3.0 port doesn't see them any more.  So now i am worried about my ports.  I use a powered usb hub for several reasons but I might have to find another.

Anyway, thanks

P.S.  I am looking forward to your Apollo pods!!!
