It is very hard to predict the price of bitcoin at this moment, it is experiencing some ups and downs, it may temporarily meet some downs the worst may be 7k and after all the price increases.

According to some charts we haven't reached 8k yet, we were close though, around the $7998.
But i don't think the price is going down under 7k this weekend or next week, unless the attackers from last week come back (Roger ver & co.) then the btc price could take a hit but not that big. I think we've reached the point where the 7k mark is the new floor, and from now on the price is going to fluctuate as always. Maybe next week we'll go around the $7700-$7400 range, either that or we reach a new ATH, who knows. And if you want to buy, i'd recommend to wait a few more days, keep checking the charts and then go for it.

When ever you have the opportunity to buy bitcoin at a good rate it is well and good.The price does have a good resistance at $8000 and so we could see these sort of movements until it breaks,so you could get the coin when the resistance pushes it down and sell when it touches the levels again and repeat the process but i do not think we could see a big correction anytime soon.

Seeing the recent news from the miners and all those things about bitcoin cash, i see it really possible to drop below $7500 each bitcoin.
I dont want to be pessimist, but those things are really happening, i have read a message in a telegram group in which they were saying that there is going to be a new attack on the exchanges towards bitcoin (i mean, they will try to dump the price again in order to pump bitcoin cash to $1500 at least)
I dont know if it is true, but it is a bad thing for bitcoin, because it can be dumped.

I don't think that it'd sound likely for a pattern over weekends to be observed over bitcoin when its markets are all speculation with nothing else on the mind of traders when it comes to buy or sell pressure. On the other hand, this weekend is close to ending and we're still seeing BTC up and closing in to 8k USD so it's likely that we'll mostly be seeing bullish swings unless massive selling pressure hits on.

Agreed, price seems to be in fluctuation which is the the common factor within the entire digital currency. Now the growth has got declined and the same doesn't mean that bitcoin won't grow high. I don't think Bitcoin will decrease low anymore so to invest and benefit out of the same.

I am not worry about the little dumps at anytime because this fear is only on the people who have been faced the biggest dump in the year 2013. After that to now there is no reason to fear about the bitcoin price dump. Because every time bitcoin price is being recovered to the big blast all the time. That is also especially from time last halving continuous bump in the chart.

I see a symmetrical wedge pattern above 7448.  So we are looking for a break of that pattern for a significant change to price to occur.    All that means right now is that its clear that price is reducing in its range, its becoming more focused before exploding up or down presumably.   

I think the standard interpretation of such a pattern is to say a continuation of trend.  Obviously Bitcoin has been rising and so long as we stay above 7448, confirming above on a 4hr candle then its bullish now.

I would not guess below 7k this weekend but as far as buying we move emotionally to a sell off quite often in bitcoin and I would just wait for China to announce something negative.  BTC is global so its not about 1 country and really the sell off needs more of a reason then that.   But China is big and it'll drop under such negatives, that could be said to be something of a buying possible opportunity.   Right now its just a case of a staircase, we step higher generally

Anything can happen in cryptocurrency, so one cannot be sure about the price in the coming days. Also crash is in inevitable so there can be situation in the coming days when price falls below 7k USD. But looking at the current statistics, there is no reason for such fall if you really want to invest in Bitcoin then I would suggest waiting for some days. As volatility factor will make the price drop under 7k for sure at some or another.
