It is not about 'instant gratification' it is about being SMART. Why mine a coin that is not profitable AT THE MOMENT??? I can switch to something way more profitable and convert earnings to btc or even LUX.

SoilCoin would give  me at least twice the return atm. It is a shitcoin but it can be sold and converted into btc and I can then buy twice as many LUX with that.

https://minethecoin.com/coin/soilcoin

I'm getting around 4 Lux per week atm, at current prices, that is only about $52. If I can get $136 per week on soilcoin, I can trade that for around 10 LUX per week.

I'M NOT A FUCKING CHARITY!!

If you think that Lux is not enough profitable for you now , you are free to find coin with more income from mining of. Wont be telling u about a futureproof mining, everybody here is a grown guys and can decide what to do/mine. Good luck anyway  Wink

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Is there any thoughts or a timetable of the release of a stake-working wallet any time soon? I know you're doing the best you can (you have prove it in the past). I am just asking Smiley

It's the best time to mine this coin! The problem is that  I suddenly got the message "stratum subscribe timeout". For bsod.pw. It had good rewards. Is there another good pool? I hope my connection problem with bsod.pw is solved soon.

Some FYI from Cryptopia about their deposit/withdraw delays:

"Deposit & Withdrawal Updates 16th February
We are aware of issues with long processing times on deposits and withdrawals. This doesn't affect withdrawals of ETH, ETN, BTC, LTC or DOGE.

We apologise for these and have been working hard on a resolution.

As of early next week we expect deposit times to be back within normal ranges, while withdrawals may take longer to restore to normal operation.

In the interim, please be aware that processing times on deposits or withdrawals may exceed 30 hours, although in most cases are likely to be less than this. Please don't submit support tickets relating to processing delays as we are unable to expedite these manually - our focus is on quickly resolving the issue for everyone.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding

The Cryptopia Team."

For big miners he have a point. But for hobby miners like he is himself the safety of mining a coin that looks like it will have a good future is way better than trying to constantly monitor which is the most profitable at the moment. Soilcoin is not a viable option for big miners though hehe.

Define "sent". What's the tx id, has it been confirmed by the network?

Why should the little miners take a loss? Sounds like loser talk to me. Why the fuck would anyone be so stupid as to mine an unprofitable coin when it is easy to switch to another coin and trade. Why the prejudice against the little guy? Plenty to choose from.

As for LUX being some sort of winner....look at the price here since 24th Jan:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/luxcoin/

It may recover one day but right now bitcoin is rising and nearly every other crypto coin is up and it is down. That is not a good sign. Of course people here think loyalty is more important rather than good sound financial considerations. Enjoy your losses. I'll buy back in when it is ready to recover, assuming it does..

Seeds have been made in a fixed amount, these repurchases create demand and thus increase the expected value. We also have a number of projects that use tokens to enable those who create demand and increase the expected value.

WoW... imagine if no one was ever loyal to BTC, LTC, or ETH.... then where would you be? LTC was unprofitable for YEARS. BTC was bouncing between Profitability and loss. ETH had boatloads of issues and fear pumped into its market, people are crying cause they sold these coins so early on and missed out on buying back.

You guys must be AMD miners cause I'm not seeing the losses in day to day mining, Its still among the top most popular coins mineable with nVidia, in profit. And there is still good volume on the coin.

Yup, jumping from one volatile coin (with everyone else, so its now less profitable) to another sure sounds like good sound financial consideration! Ever heard of a lemming? Lemmings make nummy nummy snacks!

If you want to go mine another coin feel free, less hashing power from you is more coin for me. If its less profitable there's less potential for miners to mine to dump for another coin, sounds fine to me.

Once staking is returned you can buy my LUX from me at the increased price when it recovers! then when It dips, I'll buy it back from you at a reduced price, rinse and repeat Smiley, enjoy your losses!

WoW... imagine if no one was ever loyal to BTC, LTC, or ETH.... then where would you be?

Lol, I don't need your permission to switch coins. Seriously who the fuck do you think you are??? I'll be buying your coins for sure, but at a big cut in value and with my large profits, I'll do very well thank you.

For big miners he have a point. But for hobby miners like he is himself the safety of mining a coin that looks like it will have a good future is way better than trying to constantly monitor which is the most profitable at the moment. Soilcoin is not a viable option for big miners though hehe.

I never gave you permission but ,well, you have my permission anyways. Maybe then you will be happier. And I'd sure be happier.

Since you ask, who do I think I am... well, better than you Grin Smarter than you  Cheesy more stable than you  Roll Eyes, and certainly not the guy who is spreading FUD, negativity, and closed minded opinions... That's who!

Now I'm gonna mine me some soil coin to dump it, Cause I can afford it, just for fun and just cause I can Cheesy Thanks for the advice!

Kiss  got some more feeble minded profanity you want to throw into this.
