For those of us who like to use a paper wallet first to dip our toes into a new currency, is there an available downloadable website that can generate an address offline or do we have to download the wallet?

Pos Web Wallet release is oncoming, check Roadmap https://luxcore.io/roadmap. In the meantime only desktop wallet available.

Is there anything we can do to improve performance?
Desktop wallet is basically unusable (for me at least), keeps going to 100% CPU and is completely unresponsive.
Which is keeping me from staking.
Im using minimal wallet in a win7x64 vm.

I believe you forked the SGMiner? Why is RX580- hash so low and why it crashes every-time I try to run.. Believe needs more tweaking for Phi1612 for better HASHRATES? Share if you have any plan for releasing a more optimized miner for AMD cards - please please please and keep up the good work.

I haven't done this myself I'm just repeating what was said earlier in the thread.

First you have to encrypt your wallet if it isn't already.
Then you need to unlock the wallet (leaving the "For staking only" checkbox checked)
The wallet must be running and the computer must be connected to the internet.
There is an initial 36 hour wait after the Lux coins are deposited in your account for staking to start.

One of the icons in the lower right will tell you about the staking status. Hover over the icons.

In a few days the team says they will release a new wallet to fix the performance issues of the current one.

Hope I didn't miss anything.

Ok, so I looked into the team, if you guys actually have the experience and knowledge you state you have, there might indeed be chance you can achive all your ambitious goals.

However, looking at CMC I still feel a bit frightened when I see these numbers:

Circulating Supply
912.238 LUX
Total Supply
3.912.238 LUX
Max Supply
60.000.000 LUX

Since the total market cap is calculated by the circulating supply number only, it would still increases by factor 65 if the max supply is finally in circulation, making the actual market cap $2104 Million USD, bringing LUX to #21 on CMC!

1. Can someone explain to me or direct me to a source to find out where the 3000000 missing coins from circ. <-> total supply are currently stored and what their purpose is?
2. And what are the estimations on when the max supply is reached?
3. What is the yearly inflation rate of LUX?

Lets count: 720 lux per day having from POS, 40% mean 288 lux goes to all MNs. With currently running 13 MNs we have 22.1 lux per day goes to each one => 22.1 x 30 = 663 lux per month. With current price we have 1.96 btc or $20.6k. So monthly income that showing mn.online quite correct.
