Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

How many coins are you staking?
330. I used to get rewards about every other day.
Do you mean in your wallet 330 lux staking every other day?
I mean I'm staking 330 lux in my wallet. I used to get rewards every other day but now it's been about two weeks since my last reward.
Looks like a really promising project- cant wait to see more! Especially, i like the real world connection and use-case - hard to find theses days in most coins...

In the mean time, under the current circumstances (big red beams everywhere) there is only staking a option to make some coins. Try my personal favourite POS-pool - with a really nice interface, from reliable, german developers, several POS-coins and now even with automatic Masternode support:
http://goo.gl/eoXoQB
https://stakeunited.com/hammerhart91

This is a very suspicious project , do you really think they will not steal your coins???

well you never know...but they are responive german developpers, so i have some basic trust in them. and so far they really take care well of everyhting like coin-swaps. They also once withdrawl a announced sale of a coin with reduced price due to scam-alerts...so for me they are not here for the quick buck- but just my opinion:)
Nevertheless if i would have hugh amout of coins myself i just stake in my own wallet not to risk to much^^..but for smaller amout of coins i think it is perfect;) and yes i guess samller is relaitve XD

If i had a small amount then yes maybe i would trust them with it. But the amount had to be small the reward for staking would not be worth it.
So in conlcusion not a product for me.

Though i did send LUX to the masternode Graslo has organized (not to be confused with the suspisious one posting every page). He got 4 of them running now.
Not setting up a 5th at the moment, but he does have a waiting list. Cant be too sure it is safe, but he made a youtube video so at least showed himself. And my impression from discord is very good.

For qt wallet yes, its required to keep it opened 24/7 and unlocked for staking. With web wallet thats unnecessary.

How about reward difference between staking coins in web wallet and in qt wallet?
Will I get the same rewards (assume with same probability to find blocks)?
Or qt wallet will give stakers more rewards than web wallet?
Thanks, lupanar.

If the reward/weight was different id say it was broken.
The staking should be equal. But in time maybe they will implement a fee where they get a small % of the stakes to pay for the server?

Did you upgraded till latest wallet https://github.com/216k155/lux/releases/tag/v4.3.0 ?
Also check your pool payout threshold, you might be not meeting their min payout requirements.

Same daemon/source both of this wallets so yes, no difference in staking probability.

Quick update: PoS Web Wallet will on maintenance for some hours today. During this period you may not be able to access the wallet / make transactions.  This is part of a service upgrade.

Also, friendly reminder that the only legit LUX twitter account that you can trust to is https://twitter.com/LUX_COIN
Keep in mind that if you see any posts, especially ones that asking you send some ETH or BTC, from /LUX_CO1N  or  /LUX_CO|N or any other similar twitter account that differ of official one /LUX_COIN - with 100% probability that is scammers! Please be attenttive.

Impressive that you are reminding the community and doing your best here to avoid them being scammed. Not all coins do that!

Hey lupanar

My wallet does not receive coins from mining. Why?

Thanks

Did you upgraded till latest wallet https://github.com/216k155/lux/releases/tag/v4.3.0 ?
Also check your pool payout threshold, you might be not meeting their min payout requirements.

Same daemon/source both of this wallets so yes, no difference in staking probability.

After updating wallet v4.3.0 all recovered except 2 transactions at the 0.6 coin. after this on the old might v4.2.0 came another 2 transactions of 0.6 coins, and the new wallet v4.3.0 these transactions do not exist at all. what to do so they came to the new wallet?
